Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari hasil pra penelitian di MAN 1 Bandar Lampung menunjukkan bahwasanya model dan metode pembelajaran yang diterapkan belum melibatkan peserta didik secara aktif dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga mengakibatkan keterampilan komunikasi dan self efficacy peserta didik masih tergolong kurang sekali. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Wondering, Exploring, Explaining (WEE) Berbantuan Metode Eksperimen Terhadap Keterampilan Komunikasi dan Self Efficacy Pada Mata Pelajaran Biologi. Penelitian ini adalah menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Quasy eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Pretest-Postest Control Group Desaign. Jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu semua peserta didik di kelas X MAN 1 Bandar Lampung. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian ini menggunakan Cluster Random Sampling yaitu di kelas X.12 berjumlah 35 peserta didik sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X.13 berjumlah 35 peserta didik sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian digunakan berupa Lembar Observasi Keterampilan Komunikasi, dan Angket Self Efficacy yang telah diuji Validitas dan Reliabilitas sehingga instrumen ini layak untuk digunakan. Teknik analisis datana berupa Multivarate Analisys Of Variance (MANOVA), yang sebelumnya telah dilakukan uji Normalitas dan Homogenitas. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwasannya nilai signifikan 0,000 < α = 0,05, yang berarti H1 diterima sedangkan H0 ditolak. Sehingga kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yakni terdapat Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Wondering, Exploring, Explaining (WEE) Berbantuan Metode Eksperimen Terhadap Keterampilan Komunikasi dan Self Efficacy Pada Mata Pelajaran Biologi. Kata Kunci : Keterampilan komunikasi, Self Efficacy, Metode Eksperimen, Model Pembelajaran Wondering, Exploring, Explaining (WEE) iii ABSTRACT This research is based on the results of pre-research at MAN 1 Bandar Lampung which shows that the learning models and methods applied have not actively involved students in the learning process, resulting in students' communication skills and self-efficacy being very low. The purpose of this study is to determine the Effect of the Wondering, Exploring, Explaining (WEE) Learning Model Assisted by Experimental Methods on Communication Skills and Self-Efficacy in Biology Subjects. This study uses a quantitative approach. The research method used is a Quasy experiment with a Pretest-Postest Control Group Design research design. The population in this study were all students in class X MAN 1 Bandar Lampung. The sampling technique for this study used Cluster Random Sampling, namely in class X.12 totaling 35 students as the experimental class and class X.13 totaling 35 students as the control class. The research instruments used were Communication Skills Observation Sheets, and Self-Efficacy Questionnaires that had been tested for Validity and Reliability so that this instrument was suitable for use. The data analysis technique is Multivariate Analysis Of Variance (MANOVA), which has previously been tested for Normality and Homogeneity. The results of this study indicate that the significant value is 0.000 <α = 0.05, which means that H1 is accepted while H0 is rejected. So the conclusion of this study is that there is an Influence of the Wondering, Exploring, Explaining (WEE) Learning Model Assisted by Experimental Methods on Communication Skills and Self Efficacy in Biology Subjects.
