Abstract

ABSTRAK Pelayanan sosial adalah kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah, organisasi non pemerintah, atau komunitas untuk membantu memenuhi kebutuhan dasar dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan pada masyarakat yang rantan seperti lansia. UPTD PSLU Tresna Werdha Natar Kabupaten Lampung Selatan merupakan salah satu layanan yang diselenggarakan pemerintah untuk memenuhi kebutuhan lanjut usia terlantar. Pelayanan sosial yang ada memberikan dampak terhadap kualitas hidup lansia. Dampak pelayanan sosial UPTD PSLU Tresna Werdha Natar untuk lansia adalah terpenuhinya kebutuhan dasar, kebutuhan keamanan, kebutuhan sosial, kebutuhan penghargaan, dan kebutuhan aktualisasi diri. Metode penelitian dalam skripsi ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian lapangan (Field Research). Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif, yaitu bertujuan mendeskripsikan suatu keadaan atau kondisi sesuai dengan yang ada dilapangan. Metode pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, terakhir adalah dokumentasi. Dalam wawancara yang digunakan kepada informan adalah menggunakan teknik proposive sampling, dan dokumentasi yang didapatkan dari pelayanan sosial yang diberikan oleh UPTD PSLU Tresna Werdha Natar. Teori yang digunakan untuk menganalisis dalam penelitian ini adalah teori Hierarki Kebutuhan Malow dengan menggunakan tingkat kebutuhan manusia yaitu kebutuhan fisiologis (dasar), kebutuhan keamanan, kebutuhan sosial, kebutuhan penghargaan dan kebutuhan aktualisasi diri. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelayanan sosial UPTD PSLU Tresna Werdha Natar memberikan dampak yang baik terhadap kualitas hidup lansia. Mulai dari pelayanan sosial berupa pemenuhan kebutuhan akan sandang, pangan, papan, bimbingan keagamaan, keterampilan dan sosial, bimbingan mental, bimbingan fisik, dan kesehatan. Pelayanan tersebut memenuhi kebutuhan dasar, kebutuhan keamanan, kebutuhan sosial, kebutuhan penghargaan, dan kebutuhan aktualisasi diri untuk lanjut usia yang tinggal disana. Lansia merasa dihargai, aman, serta memiliki semangat hidup, memiliki relasi sosial yang lebih baik, dan lansia dapat menemukan makna hidup dan hidup yang bermartabat bagi para lansia. ABSTRACT Social services are activities carried out by the government, non-governmental organizations, or communities to help meet basic needs and improve the welfare of individuals or groups in society who are vulnerable or in need such as the elderly. UPTD PSLU Tresna Werdha Natar, South Lampung Regency is one of the services provided by the government to meet the needs of neglected elderly. Existing Social services have an impact on the quality of life of the elderly. The impact of UPTD PSLU Tresna Werdha Natar social services for the elderly is the fulfillment of the needs of the elderly such as basic needs, security needs, social needs, appreciation needs, and self-actualization needs. The research method in this thesis is descriptive qualitative using the type of field research (Field Research). This research is descriptive, namely research that aims to describe a situation or condition according to what is in the field. Data collection methods are in the form of observation where researchers observe directly in the field, interviews, and finally documentation. In the interviews used with informants, the proposive sampling technique was used, and documentation obtained from social services provided by UPTD PSLU Tresna Werdha Natar. The theory used to analyze this study is the theory of Malow's Hierarchy of Needs using the level of human needs, namely physiological needs (basic), security needs, social needs, esteem needs and self-actualization needs. The results of this study indicate that the social services of UPTD PSLU Tresna Werdha Natar, South Lampung Regency have a good or positive impact on the quality of life of the elderly who live there. Starting from social services in the form of fulfilling the needs for clothing, food, shelter, religious guidance, skills and social, mental guidance, physical guidance, and health. These services meet basic needs, security needs, social needs, esteem needs, and self actualization needs for the elderly who live there. The elderly feel appreciated, safe, and have a zest for life, have better social relations, and the elderly can find the meaning of life and dignified life for the elderly.
