Abstract

ABSTRAK Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk karakter dan pemahaman keagamaan peserta didik. Salah satu faktor yang menentukan efektivitas pembelajaran PAI adalah kompetensi profesional guru, yang mencakup kemampuan pedagogik, penguasaan materi, serta keterampilan dalam mengelola kelas. Namun yang terjadi di tempat penelitian tidak sesuai dengan yang diharapkan misalnya, masih ada beberapa siswa menyatakan kesulitan dalam memahami materi pelajaran dari guru dikarenakan metode belajar yang monoton, dan beberapa siswa maupun siswi yang nilainya tidak mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi professional guru PAI tehadap hasil belajar peserta didik di kelas X dan XI SMA N 2 Bangkunat Belimbing. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitiaan ini adalah apakah ada pengaruh kompetensi professional guru PAI terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X-XI SMA N 2 Bangkunat Belimbing? Dan seberapa besar pengaruh kompetensi professional guru PAI terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X-XI SMA N 2 Bangkunat Belimbing?. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, dengan jumlah sampel 75 siswa dari kelas X dan XI. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan norprobality sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner untuk variable X (kompetensi professional guru), sedangkan untuk variable Y (hasil belajar) mengunakan dokumentasi dari nilai raport, dan observasi pengumpulan data dengan pengamatan dan pencatatan terhadap objek yang di teliti. Pada penelitian ini data yang dianalisis menggunakan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi profesional guru PAI memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa, dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,007 (< 0,05), yang mengindikasikan hubungan yang cukup kuat antara kompetensi guru dan hasil belajar. Setiap peningkatan 1% dalam kompetensi guru berkontribusi pada peningkatan hasil belajar sebesar 0,652 poin. Selain itu, faktor lain seperti peran orang tua dalam mendidik anak serta ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana juga berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar. Oleh karena itu, sinergi antara kompetensi guru, dukungan orang tua, dan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif sangat diperlukan iv untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di SMA N 2 Bangkunat Belimbing. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi para pendidik dan pihak sekolah dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, khususnya dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. One of the factors that determine the effectiveness of PAI learning is the professional competence of the teacher, which includes pedagogical abilities, mastery of the material, and skills in classroom management. However, the situation in the research location does not meet expectations. For example, some students still report difficulties in understanding the lesson material from the teacher due to monotonous learning methods, and several students' scores do not meet the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM). This study aims to analyze the influence of teaches’ professional competence in islamic religious educations (PAI) on students learning outcomes in grades X an XI at SMA N 2 Bangkunat Belimbing.The research questions in this study are is there an influence of the professional competence of PAI teacher on the learning outcomes of students in grades X-XI at SMA N2 Bangkunat Belimbing? And how significant is the influence of the professional competence of PAI teacher on the learning outcomes of students in grades X-XI SMA N2 Bangkunat Belimbing?. This study uses a quantitative method, with a sample of 75 students from grades X and XI. The sampling method used is non-probability sampling. Data collection involves questionnaires for variable X (teacher's professional competence), while for variable Y (learning outcomes), documentation from report cards is used, along with observations through direct monitoring and recording of the research subjects. The data were analyzed using SPSS. The results of the study show that the professional competence of the PAI teacher has a significant effect on student learning outcomes, with a significance value of 0.007 (< 0.05), indicating a strong relationship between teacher competence and learning outcomes. Every 1% increase in teacher competence contributes to an improvement in learning outcomes by 0.652 points. Additionally, other factors, such as the role of parents in educating their children and the availability of facilities and infrastructure, also influence learning outcomes. Therefore, the synergy between teacher competence, parental support, and a conducive learning environment vi is essential for improving the quality of education at SMA N 2 Bangkunat Belimbing. This study is expected to provide insights for educators and school stakeholders in efforts to enhance the quality of education, particularly in the subject of Isl amic Religious Education.
