Abstract

ABSTRAK Pengaruh faktor psikologis seperti Self-esteem, self-efficacy, dan locus of control sangat penting dalam memotivasi dan meningkatkan kinerja individu, terutama dalam konteks kerja di kantor Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Daerah (Bapperida). Dalam perspektif Islam, Self-esteem yang sehat tercermin dari penerimaan diri sebagai ciptaan Allah, dengan rasa syukur terhadap segala nikmat-Nya. Self efficacy dipandang sebagai keyakinan bahwa kemampuan adalah anugerah dari Allah, sementara locus of control mengajarkan keseimbangan antara usaha dan tawakal. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui wawancara dan observasi langsung terhadap pegawai Bapperida, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Self esteem yang positif, self-efficacy yang tinggi, dan locus of control yang seimbang berkontribusi pada peningkatan kinerja individu di Bapperida. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan kepada pengelola Bapperida dalam merancang kebijakan yang mendukung kinerja pegawai melalui pendekatan yang berlandaskan pada nilai-nilai Islam. KATA KUNCI: Kinerja Individu, Self-esteem, Self-efficacy, Locus of control, Perspektif Islam. ABSTRACT 2 The influence of psychological factors such as Self-esteem, self efficacy, and locus of control plays a significant role in motivating and improving individual performance, especially in the work context at the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bapperida). In the Islamic perspective, healthy Self-esteem is reflected in self-acceptance as a creation of Allah, coupled with gratitude for all of His blessings. Self efficacy is viewed as the belief that one's abilities are a gift from Allah, while locus of control teaches the balance between effort and tawakkul (trust in Allah). Using a qualitative approach through interviews and direct observations of Bapperida employees, this study found that positive Self-esteem, high self-efficacy, and a balanced locus of control contribute to the improvement of individual performance at Bapperida. These findings are expected to provide insights for Bapperida management in designing policies that support employee performance through an approach based on Islamic values.
