Abstract

ABSTRAK Interaksi sosial merupakan jembatan manusia sebagai makhluk individu dan makhluk sosial untuk beradaptasi dengan lingkungan, sehingga menjadi perhatian penting bagi sebuah lembaga pendidikan untuk ikut terlibat dalam pemenuhan interaksi sosial siswa. Siswa berkebutuhan khusus (tunagrahita) adalah siswa dengan karakteristik khusus yang berbeda dengan siswa pada umumnya selalu menunjukkan pada ketidakmampuan mental, emosi atau fisik. Sehingga diperlukannya sosok yang berperan untuk membantu siswa dalam mencapai interaksi yang di inginkan diantaranya adalah sosok konselor yang berperan aktif dalam proses konseling yang di selenggarakan oleh sekolah dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran konselor dengan pendekatan behavioristic dalam meningkatkan interaksi social siswa berkebutuhan khusus di Sekolah Luar Biasa Kurnia Poncowati. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah lapangan (Field Research).Dengan menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder dalam pengumpulan data. Data primer sebanyak 2 guru bimbingan konseling (konselor) dan 5 orang tua anak tunagrahita. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Semua data tersebut di analisis melalui tiga tahapan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian Peran Konselor Dengan Pendekatan Behavioristik Dalam Meningkatkan Interaksi Sosial Siswa Berkebutuhan Khusus Di Sekolah Luar Biasa Kurnia Poncowati, menunjukan bahwa peran konselor sangat baik dan aktif dalam proses konseling yakni Konselor berperan sebagai fasilitator, Konselor berperan sebagai motivator, Konselor berperan sebagai pembimbing, Konselor berperan sebagai model / rolemodel, Konselor berperan sebagai sahabat. Sehingga hasil konseling pada tahap awal hingga akhir evaluasi menunjukan bahwa adanya perubahan signifikan pada interaksi sosial anak tunagrahita. ABSTRACT Social interaction is human bridge as a individual being and social being to adapt with environment, so that it can be impotant attention in a educational institutions to engage in the fulfillment of students interactions. Students of tunagrahita is student that has special characteristics with other students that always showed on mental in capacity, in assisted students in achieved desired to interaction include a active counselor on process of counseling that organized by school with the purpose to found how the role of counselours, with a behavioristic approach in improve, the social interaction of students with needs in special schoolkurniaponcowati . The type of research used in this thesis is field research. In qualitative research, the data collected includes primary data and secondary data. Primary data is data obtained from the first source. In this research, the primary data is direct interviews with informants. The selection of informants was carried out, first, using a purposive sampling technique. Primary data consisted of 2 guidance and counseling teachers and 5 parents of mentally retarded children. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation methods. All of this data was analyzed because this research used three steps, namely, data reduction, presentation of verification data or drawing conclusions. The result of this research found that the role of counselor was good and active during counseling process namely the counselor could be motivator, advisor, role model, also bestfriend. So that the conclusion from the beginning until final evaluation showed that significant process changed by social interaction on student of tunagrahita.
