Abstract

ABSTRACT Writing is a very important skill because it gives you a way to express something and encourages learning. People have difficulties in the writing process; they have difficulty starting to write and also manage to convey their ideas through writing. Therefore, the aim of this research was to know the influence of project-based learning on students’ writing narrative text at eleventh grade of MAN 2 Bandar Lampung in the academic year of 2024/2025. This research used a quasi-experimental design. The research was conducted at MAN 2 Bandar Lampung. The population of this research was the eleventh grade. A cluster random sampling was applied in selecting the research sample. The sample was taken from two classes, XI B 3 as the experimental class and XI B 2 as the control class. Data were collected by using a pre-test and post-test. After collecting the data, the writer analyzed it by using a t-test through SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences). The result of the research of Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 < α = 0.05. It means Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. It can be summarized that PjBL had a significant influence on eleventh-grade students at MAN 2 Bandar Lampung. Keywords: Project-Based Learning (PjBL), Writing, Quasi Experimental
