Abstract

ABSTRAK Agresif merupakan perasaan marah atau tindak kasar akibat kekecewaan atau kegagalan dalam mencapai kepuasan atau tujuan yang dapat diarahkan kepada orang ataupun benda. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat 3 peserta didik yang terindeksi memiliki perilaku agresif dengan kategori tinggi dan 4 peserta didik terindeksi memiliki perilaku agresif sedang, dimana peserta didik masih berperilaku agresif yang disebabkan oleh pemikiran yang irasional. Sehingga diperlukannya penelitian yang berjudul pengaruh konseling kelompok dengan pendeketan Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) untuk mengurangi perilaku agresif pada peserta didik di SMK Gajah Mada Bandar Lampung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah layanan konseling kelompok dengan pendekatan Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) dapat mengurangi perilaku agresif pada peserta didik di SMK Gajah Mada Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu One Group Pretest Posttest. Maka pada penelitian ini kelompok akan diberikan pretest, treatment dan posttest. Fokus penelitian ini pada pengaruh layanan konseling kelompok dengan pendekatan Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) untuk mengurangi perilaku agresif pada peserta didik di SMK Gajah Mada Bandar Lampung. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan kuisioner dan observasi dengan teknik analisis data uji Wilcoxon. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, pendeketan Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy dengan teknik kognitif terbukti dapat mengurangi agresivitas pada peserta didik dengan hasil rata-rata pretest agresivitas peserta didik yang telah dilakukan oleh peserta didik diperoleh 77,57 dan setelah dilakukan treatment layanan konseling kelompok dengan pendekatan Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) maka diperoleh rata-rata 44,85. Kata kunci: Konseling Kelompok, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Perilaku Agresif ii ABSTRACT Aggressiveness is a feeling of anger or violent behavior resulting from diappoinment or failure in achieving satisfaction or goals which can be directed at people or objects. The problem in this research is that there are 7 students who are indexed as having aggressive behavior in the high and medium categories, where the students still behave aggressively due to irrational thinking. So there is a need for research entitled the application of group counseling with a Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) approach to reduce aggressive behavior in students at Gajah Mada Vocational School Bandar Lampung. The aim of this research is to find out whether group counseling services using the Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) approach can reduce aggressive behavior in students at Gajah Mada Vocational School Bandar Lampung for the 2023/2024 academic year. The type of research used is One Group Pretest-Posttest. So in this research the group will be given a pretest, treatment and posttest. The focus of this research is on the application of group counseling services using the Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) approach to reduce aggressive behavior in students at Gajah Mada Vocational School Bandar Lampung. The data collection technique used was questionnaires and observation using the Wilcoxon test data analysis technique. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. Based on research result, the rational emotive behavior therapy approach with cognitive techniques has been proven to reduce aggressiviness in sttudents. The average result of the student aggressiveness pretest that was carried out by the students was 77,57 and after treatment with group counseling services using the Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) approach the average was 44.85.
