Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran project based learning terhadap berpikir kritis peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Quasy Eksperiment. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas X yang terdiri dari kelas X.1 sampai dengan X.4, dengan sampel yang digunakan X.1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X.2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik yang digunakan untuk pengambilan sampel adalah teknik cluster random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kritis yaitu tes soal uraian. Uji hipotesis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu uji independent-samples T-test. Hasil pengujian hipotesis signifikansi untuk uji independent samples T-test yaitu sig (2 - tailed) < 0,05 yang artinya Ha diterima. Tapi, jika signifikansinya sig (2 - tailed) > 0,05, maka Ho ditolak. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa: Model pembelajaran project based learning dapat meningkatkan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Hal ini karena model pembelajaran project based learning memungkinkan peserta didik untuk belajar secara aktif, mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis serta meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran project based learning terhadap berpikir kritis peserta didik. Kata Kunci: Berpikir Kritis, Model Pembelajaran, Project Based Learning. ii ABSTRACT This research aims to determine the effect of the project based learning model on students' critical thinking. The research method used is Quasy Experiment. The population used in this research was the entire class X consisting of classes X.1 to X.4, with the sample used X.1 as the experimental class and X.2 as the control class. The technique used for sampling is the cluster random sampling technique. The instrument used in this research to measure critical thinking skills is the essay question test. The hypothesis test used in this research is the independent-samples T-test. The results of significance hypothesis testing for the independent samples T-test are sig (2 - tailed) < 0.05, which means Ha is accepted. But, if the significance is sig (2 - tailed) > 0.05, then Ho is rejected. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that: The project based learning model can improve students' critical thinking. This is because the project based learning model allows students to learn actively, develop critical thinking skills and increase students' learning motivation.
