Abstract

ABSTRAK Moral dan etika siswa rentan terpengaruh, karena diera perkembangan zaman saat ini banyak hal-hal negatif yang mudah untuk mempengaruhi mereka. Terlebih lagi melalui teknologi yang canggih, yang mana saat ini hampir setiap siswa di sekolah sudah mengenal dan bahkan memilikinya. Dibalik membawa kemudahan bagi penggunanya teknologi juga membawa banyak dampak negatif terhadap manusia, terutama bagi siswa yang masih sangat mudah dan rentan untuk dipengaruhi moral dan etikanya. Kecakapan guru dalam proses mengajar merupakan bagian yang tidak bisa terpisahkan dalam rangka perbaikan moral dan etika siswa, karena siswa membutuhkan sosok pembimbing yang mampu memahami keadaannya. Terlebih lagi moral dan etika buruk siswa terbentuk karena kurangnya bimbingan serta perhatian. Maka guru harus berperan aktif di lingkungan sekolah untuk memberikan kedua hal itu, karena tidak semua siswa mendapatkan bimbingan dan perhatian di lingkungan keluarga serta lingkungan social lainnya. Dengan usaha guru tersebut siswa diharapkan mau berusaha menjadi pribadi yang lebih baik dan mau untuk memperbaiki moral dan etikanya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (Field Reseach) dengan model penelitian kualitatif. Sedangkan sifat penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik penjamin keabsahan data penelitian ini yaitu dengan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Berkenaan dengan hal di atas, maka fokus dan subfokus dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan tentang peran guru PAI dalam menanamkan nilai – nilai ajaran Islam peserta didik Kelas VII di SMP Negeri 33 Bandar Lampung. Tujuan penelitianya untuk mengetahui peran guru pai dalam mendidik dan membimbing siswa. Kemudian analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran guru dalam menanamkan nilai – nilai ajaran Islam di SMP Negeri 33 Bandar Lampung dapat dikatakan telah terlaksana dengan baik. Peran guru tersebut diantaranya: Sebagai pendidik dan pembimbing, Peran guru sebagai pendidik dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai ajaran Islam di ii sekolah yaitu dengan mendidik peserta didiknya agar memiliki tingkah laku yang sesuai dengan norma-norma agama. Guru dapat membentuk karakter peserta didik yang beragama melalui pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam. Sedangkan peran guru sebagai pembimbing dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai ajaran Islam di sekolah yaitu dengan memiliki tugas dan harus bertanggungjawab, tidak hanya memberikan ilmu pengetahuan kepada peserta didik melainkan juga harus mampu membimbing peserta didik berada pada jalur yang tepat sesuai dengan ajaran agama dan sesuai dengan tujuan pendidikan. Dari hasil penelitian juga terdapat beberapa hambatan bagi guru dalam menanamkan nilai – nilai ajaran Islam diantaranya adalah latar belakang peserta didik, sehingga membuat mereka kurang berminat dalam hal keagamaan khususnya menanamkan nilai – nilai ajaran Islam dan juga sarana dan prasarana yang tersedia disekolah, yang pada akhirnya membuat peserta didik menjadi enggan untuk melaksanakan sholat berjamaah. The teacher's ability in the teaching process is an inseparable part of improving students' morals and ethics, because students need a mentor who is able to understand their situation. Moreover, students' bad morals and ethics are formed due to lack of guidance and attention. So teachers must play an active role in the school environment to provide both of these things, because not all students get guidance and attention in their family environment and other social environments. With the teacher's efforts, students are expected to be willing to try to become better people and want to improve their morals and ethics. This type of research is field research with a qualitative research model. While the nature of this research is descriptive qualitative. This research uses interview, observation, and documentation data collection techniques. Meanwhile, the technique of guaranteeing the validity of the research data is by triangulating iv sources and techniques. In relation to the above, the focus and sub focus of this study are to describe the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in instilling Islamic values in Class VII students at SMP Negeri 33 Bandar Lampung. The purpose of the study is to determine the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in educating and guiding students. Then data analysis is carried out by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the role of teachers in instilling Islamic values in SMP Negeri 33 Bandar Lampung can be said to have been implemented well. The roles of teachers include: As educators and mentors, The role of teachers as educators in instilling Islamic values in schools is by educating their students to have behavior that is in accordance with religious norms. Teachers can shape the character of religious students through Islamic religious education learning. While the role of teachers as mentors in instilling Islamic values in schools is by having duties and must be responsible, not only providing knowledge to students but also must be able to guide students on the right track in accordance with religious teachings and in accordance with educational goals. From the results of the study, there were also several obstacles for teachers in instilling Islamic values, including the background of students, making them less interested in religious matters, especially in instilling Islamic values and also the facilities and infrastructure available at school, which ultimately made students reluctant to perform congregational prayers.
