Abstract

ABSTRAK Skripsi ialah karya tulis ilmiah yang harus dikerjakan mahasiswa sebagai syarat untuk mendapatkan gelar sarjana. mahasiswa, khususnya mahasiswa tingkatan akhir seringkali mengalami bermacam hambatan kala mengerjakan skripsi. Faktor faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi perilaku help seeking meliputi quality of friendship dan self efficacy. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah quality of friendship dan self efficacy mempengaruhi perilaku help seeking dalam proses penyusunan skripsi pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa tingkat akhir yang sedang menyusun skripsi berdomisili di bandar lampung. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini didapatkan melalui teknik purposive sampling dan diperoleh sebanyak 175 mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tiga skala, yaitu skala perilaku help seeking (α= 0.912), skala quality of friendship (α= 0.945), dan skala self efficacy (α= 0.921). Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi berganda, dengan menggunakan bantuan JASP 0.18.3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa quality of friendship dan self efficacy secara bersama-sama berkorelasi positif dengan perilaku help seeking (R = 0.301, F = 8.541, p < 0.01). Secara spesifik, quality of friendship memiliki hubungan positif dengan perilaku help seeking (R = 0.249, p <0.01, kontribusi 4.8%), dan self efficacy juga berkorelasi positif dengan perilaku help seeking (R = 0.241, p < 0.01, kontribusi 4.3%). Kata Kunci: Perilaku Help Seeking, Quality of Friendship, Self Efficacy. ABSTRACT Thesis is a scientific paper that must be completed by students as a requirement to obtain a bachelor's degree. Students, especially final-year students, often face various obstacles when working on their thesis. Factors that can influence help-seeking behavior include quality of friendship and self-efficacy. This study aims to determine whether quality of friendship and self-efficacy affect help-seeking behavior in the process of writing a thesis among final-year students. The population in this study consisted of final-year students who were in the process of writing their thesis. Participants in this study were obtained through purposive sampling, with a total of 175 students. Data collection techniques in this study utilized three scales: the help seeking scale (α = 0.912), the quality of friendship scale (α = 0.945), and the self-efficacy scale (α = 0.921). The data analysis technique used in this study was multiple regression analysis, with the assistance of JASP 0.18.3.0 software. The results of the study indicated that quality of friendship and self-efficacy together were positively correlated with help-seeking behavior (R = 0.301, F = 8.541, p < 0.01). Specifically, quality of friendship had a positive relationship with help-seeking behavior (R = 0.249, p < 0.01, contribution 4.8%), and self-efficacy also had a positive correlation with help-seeking behavior (R = 0.241, p < 0.01, contribution 4.3%).
