Abstract

ABSTRAK Anak korban verbal abuse di Perkumpulan Damar Bandar Lampung mengalami Bentuk verbal abuse yang dilakukan adalah orangtua mencaci dengan melontarkan kata-kata kasar dan kotor, mengancam, tidak menganggap keberadaan anak, menghina serta selalu menyalahkan setiap tindakan yang dilakukan anak.Sehingga anak mengalami dampak negatif seperti timbulnya gangguan emosional, selalu merasa takut saat dirumah, kurangnya kepercayaan diri, murung saat disekolah, merasa terancam dilingkungan sekitarnya. Rumusan masalah peneliti adalah bagaimana pelaksanaan konseling individu untuk menanggulangi anak korban verbal abuse dalam keluarga di perkumpulan damar bandar lampung. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (field research) yang Dimana bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data primer didalam penelitian berjumlah 5 orang, yang dimana terdiri 3 anak yang mengalami verbal abuse , 1 orang konselor dan 1 staff penanganan kasus Perkumpulan Damar Bandar Lampung. Untuk sumber data penelitian ini adalah sumber data sekunder yang di peroleh dari buku, dokumentasi, internet dan jurnal. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model analisis data yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, dan pengambilan keputusan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pelaksanaan konseling individu untuk menanngulangi anak korban verbal abuse dalam keluarga di Perkumpulan Damar Bandar Lampung dilaksanakan melalui empat tahap, yaitu : 1) Tahap awal, dimulai dari pengenalan antara anak verbal abuse dan konselor, konselor membangun hubungan awal yang baik yang bertujuan untuk membangun rasa percaya anak korban verbal abuse terhadap konselor. 2) Tahap pertengahan (tahaap kerja) yaitu tahap kegiatan konseling, pada tahap ini konselor mulai memperdalam permasalahan yang dialami anak korban verbal abuse secara lebih rinci dan mulai membangun pernyataan-pernytaan yang diungkapkan oleh anak, pendekatan yang diberikan yaitu cognitive behavioristik dengan teknik Play therapy. 3) Tahap akhir, konseling pada tahapan ini dilakukannya penelitian apakah ada terjadi perubahan yang baik dan positif terhadap anak korban verbal abuse setelah diberikannya konseling individu, dan untuk meninjau kembali apakah proses konseling sudah sesuai dan berjalan dengan semestinya dan pada tahap akhir terdapat evaluasi pada tahap ini adalah menilai dan melihat perubahan baik apa saja yang terjadi pada anak korban verbal abuse setelah diberikannya konseling individu. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pelaksanaan konseling individu untuk menangglangi anak korban verbal abuse dalam keluarga di Perkumpulan Damar Bandar Lampung telah berhasil dilakukan dan mendapat hasil yang positif walaupun membutuhkan proses yang sedikit lebih lama. ABSTRACT Children who are victims of verbal abuse in the Damar Bandar Lampung Association experience verbal abuse in the form of parents cursing by throwing harsh and dirty words, threatening, not considering the existence of the child, insulting and always blaming every action taken by the child. The factors causing cases of verbal abuse in this family are family economic factors so that they consider children as a burden on life, then the factor of parental divorce. So that children experience negative impacts such as emotional disturbances, always feeling afraid at home, lack of self confidence, being gloomy at school, feeling threatened in their surroundings. The formulation of the research problem is how to implement individual counseling to overcome children who are victims of verbal abuse in families in the Damar Bandar Lampung Association. This type of research is field research which is descriptive qualitative. The primary data sources in the study were 5 people, consisting of 3 children who experienced verbal abuse, 1 counselor and 1 case handling staff at the Damar Bandar Lampung Association. The data sources for this study are secondary data sources obtained from books, documentation, the internet and journals. The data collection technique used in this study is a data analysis model consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and decision making. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of individual counseling to overcome children who are victims of verbal abuse in families at the Damar Bandar Lampung Association is carried out through four stages, namely: 1) The initial stage, starting from the introduction between the blind child and the counselor, the counselor builds a good initial relationship that aims to build trust between the child victim of verbal abuse towards the counselor. 2) The middle stage (work stage) is the counseling activity stage, at this stage the counselor begins to deepen the problems experienced by the child victim of verbal abuse in more detail and begins to build statements expressed by the child, the approach given is cognitive behavioristic with Play therapy techniques. 3) The final stage, counseling at this stage is conducted research whether there are good and positive changes in children who are victims of verbal abuse after being given individual counseling, and to review whether the counseling process is appropriate and running properly and at the final stage there is an evaluation at this stage is to assess and see what good changes occur in children who are victims of verbal abuse after being given individual counseling. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of individual counseling to deal with children who are victims of verbal abuse in families at the Damar Association in Bandar Lampung has been successfully carried out and has produced positive results, although it requires a slightly longer process.
