Abstract

ABSTRAK Pekon Kampung Baru merupakan pekon dengan mayoritas masyarakat memiliki mata pencaharian sebagai petani, sehingga perekonomian masyarakat hanya mengandalkan hasil dari pertanian untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya. Pekon Kampung Baru memiliki potensi wisata berupa air terjun dengan yang dapat di kelola sehingga menjadi wisata yang mampu berdaya saing untuk menarik wisatawan serta berdampak pada peningkatan perekonomian masyarakat Pekon Kampung Baru dengan pola pengelolaan yang terencana dan tersusun agar potensi yang dimanfaatkan dapat berkembang secara optimal. Pemanfaatan objek wisata air terjun Way Lalaan mempunyai keinginan ataupun suatu harapan khususnya bagi masyarakat Pekon Kampung Baru yang berada di sekitar air terjun Way Lalaan untuk berperan serta dalam pengembangan dan memanfaatkan potensi tersebut. Karena perlu diketahui minimnya pengetahuan dan kemampuan yang dialami oleh masyarakat dalam mengelola air terjun Way Lalaan tersebut, sehingga masyarakat tidak mampu melihat peluang atau potensi yang dimiliki oleh objek wisata air terjun Way Lalaan. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode pengumpulan, pengolahan, dan analisis data dengan jenis penelitian yaitu kualitatif. Adapun pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan Teknik Purposiv Sampling yaitu pengambilan sampel berdasarkan dengan pertimbangan-pertimbangan tertentu yang terseleksi sebelumnya, maka sampel yang diambil berjumlah 10 orang. Proses pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat melalui pengelolaan objek wisata air terjun Way Lalaan, terdapat beberapa tahapan didalamnya yaitu tahap pengkapasitasan, dan pendayaan. kesimpulan pengelolalaan objek wisata air terjun Way Lalaan melalui Kelompok Sadar Wisata Way Lalaan dilakukan dengan empat tahapan berikut yaitu: Pengembangan Kapasitas, Penguatan Kelembagaan, dan Penyediaan Fasilitas Usaha Ekonomi. Kata Kunci : Pemberdayaan Masyarakat, Pengelolaan Pariwisata. ABSTRAK Pekon Kampung Baru is a pekon where the majority of people earn their living as farmers, so that the community's economy only relies on agricultural products to meet their daily needs. Pekon Kampung Baru has tourism potential in the form of waterfalls which can be managed so that it becomes a tourist attraction that is competitive in attracting tourists and has an impact on improving the economy of the Pekon Kampung Baru community with a planned and structured management pattern so that the potential utilized can develop optimally. The use of the Way Lalaan waterfall tourist attraction has a desire or hope, especially for the people of Pekon Kampung Baru who are around the Way Lalaan waterfall, to participate in developing and exploiting this potential. Because it is necessary to know the lack of knowledge and abilities experienced by the community in managing the Way Lalaan waterfall, so that the community is unable to see the opportunities or potential that the Way Lalaan waterfall tourist attraction has. collection includes In this research the author used data collection, processing and analysis methods with a qualitative research type. Data interviews, observation and documentation. In this research, the author used a purposive sampling technique, namely taking samples based on certain previously selected considerations, so the sample taken was 10 people. The process of empowering the community's economy through managing the Way Lalaan waterfall tourist attraction, there are several stages in it, namely capacity building and empowerment. Conclusion: Management of the Way Lalaan waterfall tourist attraction through the Way Lalaan Tourism Awareness Group is carried out in the following four stages, namely: Capacity Development, Institutional Strengthening, and Provosion Of Economic Busines Facilities.
