Abstract

ABSTRAK Di Indonesia ada begitu banyak macam budaya atau tradisi perkawinan. Yang mana budaya merupakan sebuah tradisi yang sudah dilakukan turun- temurun oleh masyarakat setempat serta diikuti dengan sistem kepercayaan yang dianutnya. Salah satunya yaitu tradisi ngundang matu yang ada di desa Krui Kecamatan Pesisir Tengah Kabupaten Pesisir Barat. Mereka melakukan suatu ritual yang mereka sebut dengan upacara Ngundang Matu yang bertujuan untuk menjauhankan segala macam bentuk bencana serta memberikan kedamaian hidup pada masyarakat Krui. Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini yaitu Bagaimana Praktik Tradisi Ngundang Matu pada Pernikahan Masyarakat Lampung Sai batin di Desa Krui? dan Bagaimana Tinjauan Hukum Islam Terhadap Praktik Ngundang Matu pada Pernikahan Masyarakat Lampung Sai batin? Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui Praktik Tradisi Ngundang Matu pada Pernikahan Masyarakat Lampung Sai batin di Desa Krui. Dan untuk mengetahui bagaimana Tinjauan Hukum Islam Terhadap Praktik Ngundang Matu pada Pernikahan Masyarakat Lampung Sai batin Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan atau field research dan pengumpulan data untuk mendukung penelitian dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data primer diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan beberapa informan penelitian, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari buku, jurnal, skripsi, dan sumber-sumber lainnya yang relevan guna menunjang penelitian sesuai dengan fakta yang ada di lapangan. Kemudian data yang diperoleh tersebut dianalisa secara induktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Proses praktik pernikahan ngundang matu hanya dilakukan oleh Masyarakat yang memiliki keturunan saibatin dan dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan, Kesadaran akan kepercayaan Masyarakat untuk menjalankan tradisi ngundang matu memberikan indikasi bahwa mereka benar-benar menaati tradisi ini. Serta Tinjauan hukum Islam tradisi ngundang matu adat keturunan saibatin desa Krui Kecamatan Pesisir Tengah Dilihat dari segi objeknya, termasuk dalam ‘urf amali. Dilihat dari segi ruang lingkupnya termasuk dalam ‘urf khas (khusus) dan dari segi diterima atau tidaknya termasuk dalam ‘urf fasid. Kata Kunci: Tinjauan, Hukum Islam, Tradisi, Ngundang Matu, Pernikahan. ABSTRACT In Indonesia there are so many kinds of cultures or marriage traditions. Where culture is a tradition that has been carried out from generation to generation by the local community and is followed by the belief system that they adhere to. One of them is the ngundang matu tradition in Krui Village, Pesisir Tengah District, Pesisir Barat Regency. They perform a ritual that they call the Ngundang Matu ceremony which aims to ward off all forms of disaster and provide peace of life to the Krui community. The formulation of the problem in this study is How is the Practice of the Ngundang Matu Tradition in the Wedding of the Lampung Sai Batin Community in Krui Village? and How is the Review of Islamic Law on the Practice of Ngundang Matu in the Wedding of the Lampung Sai Batin Community? The purpose of this study is to determine the Practice of the Ngundang Matu Tradition in the Wedding of the Lampung Sai Batin Community in Krui Village. And to find out how the Review of Islamic Law on the Practice of Ngundang Matu in the Wedding of the Lampung Sai Batin Community The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method with the type of field research and data collection to support the research is carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. Primary data was obtained through interviews with several research informants, while secondary data was obtained from books, journals, theses, and other relevant sources to support the research in accordance with the facts in the field. Then the data obtained was analyzed inductively. The results of the study showed that the process of practicing ngundang matu marriage was only carried out by people who had descendants of saibatin and was carried out in several stages. Awareness of the community's belief in carrying out the ngundang matu tradition indicates that they truly obey this tradition. As well as a review of Islamic law on the tradition of ngundang matu, the custom of saibatin descendants in Krui Village, Pesisir Tengah District. Viewed from the object aspect, it is included in 'urf amali. Viewed from the scope aspect, it is included in 'urf khas (special) and in terms of whether it is accepted or not, it is included in 'urf fasid.
