Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya motivasi karir peserta didik di sekolah. Permasalahan ini terdapat pada peserta didik kelas XI di MA Al-Hikmah Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana penerapan serta hambatan-hambatan layanan konseling kelompok teknik modelling dalam motivasi karir peserta didik di MA Al-Hikmah Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain penelitian studi kasus multi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah wawancara, observasi serta dokumentasi, dan teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah teori Motivasi Karir Manuel London. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) pelaksanaan konseling kelompok dilakukan dengan enam tahapan yaitu, tahap prakonseling; tahap pemulaan; tahap transisi; tahap kerja; tahap akhir; dan tahap pascakonseling. Dalam penggunaan teknik modelling simbolik tahapan-tahapan yang dilakukan ialah proses perhatian; proses retensi; proses produksi; dan proses motivasi. 2) peserta didik tidak memiliki hambatan pada saat proses pelaksanaan berlangsung dikarenakan proses pelaksanaan yang santai dengan dinamika kelompok yang baik antar anggota kelompok dan ketua kelompok serta penyampaian dan penjelasan yang mudah dipahami oleh peserta didik. Sedangkan bagi penulis hambatan yang dirasakan dalam pelaksanaan layanan konseling kelompok ialah kurangnya sarana dan prasarana yang memadai serta waktu konseling yang harus menyesuaikan dengan waktu pembelajaran yang diberikan oleh guru mata pelajaran yang menjadi hambatan penulis selama melakukan penelitian. This problem is found in class XI students at MA Al�Hikmah Bandar Lampung. This study aims to analyze how the application and obstacles of group counseling services modeling techniques in the career motivation of students at MA Al-Hikmah Bandar Lampung. This research uses a qualitative method with a multi�case case study research design. The data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation, and the theory used in this study is Manuel London's Career Motivation theory. The results showed that 1) the implementation of group counseling was carried out with six stages, namely, the pre-counseling stage; the initiation stage; the transition stage; the work stage; the final stage; and the post�counseling stage. In the use of symbolic modeling techniques, the stages carried out are the attention process; retention process; production process; and motivation process. 2) Students have no obstacles during the implementation process due to the relaxed implementation process with good group dynamics between group members and group leaders as well as delivery and explanations that are easily understood by students. As for the author, the obstacles felt in the implementation of group counseling services are the lack of adequate facilities and infrastructure and the counseling time that must adjust to the learning time given by the subject teacher which is an obstacle for the author during the research.
