Abstract

ABSTRAK Pertumbuhan ekonomi adalah proses transformasi negara menuju kondisi yang lebih baik, diukur melalui Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB). PDB adalah indikator penting yang menggambarkan kemampuan negara dalam mengelola sumber daya dan mencerminkan keadaan perekonomian dalam jangka waktu tertentu. Pada 6 Negara ASEAN, pertumbuhan ekonomi cenderung fluktuatif, menunjukkan ketidakstabilan dan perubahan signifikan dari waktu ke waktu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh jumlah pekerja migran, populasi dan tingkat pendidikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di 6 Negara kawasan ASEAN secara parsial dan simultan dalam perspektif ekonomi islam. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Jenis data yang digunakan yaitu data sekunder yang diperoleh dari WorldBank dan International Labour Organization dengan cross section 6 Negara kawasan ASEAN dan time series selama 5 tahun. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu data panel dengan model random effect dan alat yang digunakan untuk mengolah data yaitu Eviews 10. Hasil dari penelitian ini secara parsial variabel jumlah pekerja migran, populasi dan tingkat pendidikan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di 6 Negara kawasan ASEAN. Secara simultan variabel jumlah pekerja migran, populasi dan tingkat pendidikan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di 6 Negara kawasan ASEAN. Ekonomi Islam menekankan pengelolaan sumber daya yang bijaksana, peningkatan keterampilan melalui pendidikan, dan pemanfaatan potensi populasi serta tenaga kerja untuk kesejahteraan ekonomi. Prinsip keadilan dan kesetaraan merupakan inti ajaran Islam, yang tidak hanya bertujuan mencapai kesejahteraan materi di dunia tetapi juga kesejahteraan di akhirat. Kata Kunci : Jumlah Pekerja Migran, Populasi, Tingkat Pendidikan, Pertumbuhan Ekonomi dan Perspektif Ekonomi Islam. ABSTRACT Economic growth is the process of transforming a country towards better conditions, measured through Gross Domestic Product (GDP). GDP is an important indicator that describes a country's ability to manage resources and reflects the state of the economy over a period of time. In the 6 ASEAN countries, economic growth tends to fluctuate, showing instability and significant changes over time. The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze the influence of the number of migrant workers, population and education level on economic growth in 6 ASEAN countries partially and simultaneously from the perspective of Islamic economics. The method in this study uses a quantitative approach. The type of data used is secondary data obtained from the World Bank and the International Labour Organization with a cross section of 6 ASEAN countries and a time series for 5 years. The data analysis used is panel data with a random effect model and the tool used to process the data is Eviews 10. The results of this study partially show that the variables of the number of migrant workers, population and education level have a significant effect on economic growth in 6 ASEAN countries. Simultaneously, the variables of the number of migrant workers, population and education level have a significant effect on economic growth in 6 ASEAN countries. Islamic economics emphasizes prudent management of resources, upskilling through education, and the utilization of the potential of the population and workforce for economic well-being. The principles of justice and equality are the core of Islamic teachings, which not only aim to achieve material prosperity in this world but also prosperity in the hereafter.
