Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Think Pair Share Berbantuan Phet Simulation Terhadap Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis Peserta Didik Pada Pembelajaran Fisika. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Quasy Eksperimen dengan desain penelitian control group pretest-posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI MIPA di SMA Negeri 3 Tanjung Raja . Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling dengan sampel kelas XI MIPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI MIPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrument tes berupa essay untuk mengukur keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik serta lembar observasi keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran think pair share. Uji penelitian ini menggunakan uji independent sample t test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan dari data penelitian diperoleh hasil bahwa pada kelas eksperimen dengan model think pair share (TPS) diperoleh nilai rata-rata 75,89 dan kelas kontrol diperoleh nilai rata-ratanya 69,89. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji independent sample test pada taraf signifikan 5% diperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0.000, sehingga sehingga Ha diterima. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran think pair share berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada pembelajaran fisika pada materi hukum kekelan energi mekanik. Kata Kunci: Think Pair Share, PhET Simulation, Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis, Hukum Kekekalan Energi Mekanik ii ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the Effect of the Think Pair Share Model Assisted by Phet Simulation on Students' Critical Thinking Skills in Physics Learning. The method used in this study is a Quasy Experiment with a control group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all students of class XI MIPA at SMA Negeri 3 Tanjung Raja. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling with samples of class XI MIPA 1 as the experimental class and XI MIPA 2 as the control class. The instrument used was a test instrument in the form of an essay to measure students' critical thinking skills and an observation sheet for the implementation of the think pair share model. This research test uses an independent sample t-test. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion of the research data, it was found that in the experimental class with the think pair share (TPS) model, the average value was 75.89 and the control class obtained an average value of 69.89. The results of the hypothesis test using the independent sample test at a significance level of 5% obtained a Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000, so that Ha is accepted. The results of the study indicate that the model of the think pair share type has an effect on students' critical thinking skills in physics learning on the material of the law of conservation of mechanical energy.
