Abstract

ABSTRAK Oleh Kalsum Penerapan model pembelajaran yang kurang sesuai dengan kemampuan peserta didik dan latar belakang kemampuan peserta didik membuat kegiatan pembelajaran tidak optimal, sehingga kemampuan Higher Order Thiking Skill peserta didik rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model PBL berbantuan Media Question Card terhadap Kemampuan Higher Order Thiking Skill (HOTS) pada materi ekosistem di kelas X SMA Perintis 2 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini mengacu pada pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif, dengan jenis penelitian Quasi Experiment Design dan bentuk desain yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest only control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X MIPA SMA Perintis 2 Bandar Lampung. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik acak atau Cluter Random Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes tertulis berupa soal uraian HOTS. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai rata-rata Posttest HOTS peserta didik dalam kategori tinggi dengan rata-rata N-gain kelas eksperimen sebesar 70,3 dan rata-rata N-gain kelas kontrol 29,8. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Hasil perhitungan hipotesis dengan uji t-independen menunjukan bahwa nilai Sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, sehingga hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model PBL berbantuan Media Question Card terhadap Kemampuan Higher Order Thinking Skill peserta didik kelas X pada materi ekosistem di SMA Perintis 2 Bandar Lampung. This research aims to determine the effect of the PBL model assisted by Media Question Cards on Higher Order Thiking Skill (HOTS) abilities in ecosystem material in class X SMA Perintis 2 Bandar Lampung. This research refers to a quantitative research approach, with a Quasi Experiment Design research type and the design form used is pretest-posttest only control group design. The population in this study were all students of class X MIPA SMA Perintis 2 Bandar Lampung. The sample used in this research used a random technique or Clutter Random Sampling. The data collection technique used in this research was a written test in the form of HOTS essay questions. Based on the research results, it shows that the average HOTS Posttest score of students is in the high category with an average N-gain for the experimental class of 70.3 and an average N-gain for the control class of 29.8. The results of data analysis show that the data is normally distributed and homogeneous. The results of calculating the hypothesis using the independent t-test show that the Sig (2-tailed) value is 0.000 < 0.05, so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, so the results of this research can be concluded that there is an influence of the PBL model assisted by Media Question Cards on Higher Order Thinking Ability Class X students' skills in ecosystem material at SMA Perintis 2 Bandar Lampung.
