Abstract

ABSTRAK Hasil-hasil studi dibidang neurologi mengetengahkan antara lain bahwa perkembangan anak telah mencapai 50% ketika anak berusia 4 tahun, 80% ketika anak berusia 8 tahun, dan genap 100% ketika anak berusia 18 tahun (Osborn, White, dan Bloom). Studi tersebut makin menguatkan pendapat para ahli sebelumnya, tentang keberadaan masa peka atau masa emas (golden age) pada anak-anak usia dini. Masa emas perkembangan anak yang hanya datang sekali seumur hidup tidak boleh disia-siakan. Kurangnya pengetahuan orang tua tentang pentingnya gizi pada anak semakin memperburuk tumbuh kembang pada anaknya, hal ini berdampak pada kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia 20 tahun ke depan yang buruk. Keterlibatan dan kemampuan ibu terhadap Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) anak usia dini sangat menentukan kualitas kesehatan anak. Kemampuan ibumengenai PHBS ditingkatkan dengan pendidikan kesehatan seperti pelatihan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas pelatihan penerapan PHBS terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan, sikap, dan peran ibusiswa PAUD. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan pengetahuan tentang gizi ibu perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat dengan dan perkembangan kognitif anak 4-5 tahun. Metode Penelitian, yang digunakan adalah metode analitik dengan pendekatan Cros s sectional. Penelitian ini mengambil sampel 20 anak dan ibunya di PAUD LATHIFAH Bandar Lampung, yang mana tekhnik pengambilan sampel secara total sampling yaitu Dimana Alat Ukur yang digunakan ialah Kuesioner dan lembar observasi. Yang mana dianalisis menggunakan uji dengan tingkat signifikansi α = 0,05. Disarankan kepada seluruh ibu tetap menggali informasi tentang kesehatan anak khususnya tata cara pemberian makanan yang bergizi kepada balita. Kata Kunci: Pengetahuan ibu,perilaku hidup bersih,Perkembangan Kognitif . iii ABSTRACT The results of studies in the field of neurology show, among other things, that child development has reached 50% when the child is 4 years old, 80% when the child is 8 years old, and even 100% when the child is 18 years old (Osborn, White, and Bloom). This study further strengthens the opinion of previous experts regarding the existence of a sensitive period or golden age in early childhood. The golden period of a child's development which only comes once in a lifetime should not be wasted. Parents' lack of knowledge about the importance of nutrition for children further worsens their children's growth and development, this has an impact on the poor quality of Human Resources in the next 20 years. The involvement and ability of mothers to the Clean and Healthy Behavior of early childhood (PHBS) is very determining the quality of children's health. The mother's ability on PHBS is enhanced by health education such as training. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of PHBS application training on improving the knowledge, attitudes, and the role of mothers of PAUD students. The aim of this research is to analyze the relationship between parental knowledge about nutrition and the cognitive development of children 4-5 years old. The research method used is an analytical method with a cross-sectional approach. This research took a sample of 20 children and their mothers at PAUD LATHIFAH Bandar Lampung, where the sampling technique was total sampling, namely where the measuring instruments used were questionnaires and observation sheets. Which was analyzed using a test with a significance level of α = 0.05. It is recommended that all mothers continue to seek information about children's health, especially procedures for providing nutritious food to toddlers.
