Abstract

ABSTRAK Hubungan Antara Task aversiveness dengan Prokrastinasi Akademik Pada Siswa SMK X Oleh: Tsara Afifah Prokrastinasi akademik adalah perilaku menunda tugas yang sering terjadi di kalangan siswa, termasuk di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhinya adalah Task aversiveness, yaitu persepsi terhadap kesulitan atau ketidaknyamanan tugas akademik. Dengan menggunakan skala Likert, penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan wawasan untuk pengembangan strategi intervensi yang efektif dalam mengatasi prokrastinasi di kalangan siswa SMK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh Task aversiveness terhadap Prokrastinasi Akademik pada siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa jurusan Animasi di SMK Negeri 1 Gadingrejo. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 96 siswa aktif dari kelas XI dan XII jurusan Animasi di SMK tersebut. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan non-probability sampling dengan metode Total sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala prokrastinasi akademik dan skala task aversiveness. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala prokrastinasi akademik yang terdiri dari 48 aitem, dan skala task aversiveness yang terdiri dari 35 aitem. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi positif yang signifikan antara Task aversiveness dan Prokrastinasi Akademik dengan koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0.389 dan nilai signifikansi p < 0.001. Ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi persepsi terhadap kesulitan atau ketidaknyamanan tugas, semakin tinggi tingkat prokrastinasi akademik yang dialami oleh siswa. Analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa Task aversiveness memberikan kontribusi sebesar 15,8% terhadap variabilitas Prokrastinasi Akademik, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 84,2% dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain yang tidak dibahas dalam penelitian ini. ABSTRACT The Relationship Between Task aversiveness and Academic Procrastination in SMK X Students By: Tsara Afifah Academic procrastination is a behavior of postponing tasks that often occurs among students, including in Vocational High Schools (SMK). One of the factors that affects it is Task aversiveness, which is the perception of the difficulty or discomfort of academic assignments. Using the Likert scale, this study aims to provide insights for the development of effective intervention strategies in overcoming procrastination among vocational school students. This study aims to examine the influence of Task aversiveness on Academic Procrastination in Vocational High School (SMK) students. The population in this study is students majoring in Animation at SMK Negeri 1 Gadingrejo. The sample in this study is 96 active students from grades XI and XII majoring in Animation at the vocational school. The sampling technique uses non-probability sampling with the total sampling method. The instruments used in this study are the academic procrastination scale and the task aversiveness scale. The data collection technique was carried out using an academic procrastination scale consisting of 48 items, and a task aversiveness scale consisting of 35 items. The results showed that there was a significant positive correlation between Task aversiveness and Academic Procrastination with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.389 and a significance value of p < 0.001. This indicates that the higher the perception of the difficulty or discomfort of the task, the higher the level of academic procrastination experienced by the student. Regression analysis shows that Task aversiveness contributes 15,8% to the variability of Academic Procrastination, while the remaining 84,2% is influenced by other factors not discussed in this study.
