Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang Surat Kabar Harian Umum Lampung Post yang didirikan tahun 1974, dan terdapat salah satu rubrik pada kolom Surat Kabar yang menyediakan atau menginformasikan Agama Islam. Nama rubrik atau kolom tersebut yaitu, Mimbar Jumat yang diterbitkan hari jumat pada halaman ketiga pada surat kabar dan dicetak serta disebarluaskan kepada Masyarakat. Dengan adanya Surat Kabar Harian Umum Lampung Post, Masyarakat dapat mengetahui informasi terkait agama Islam, khususnya Masyarakat Lampung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian Sejarah dengan memuat empat tahapan penelitian, yaitu Heuristik, Verifikasi atau kritik sumber untuk membedakan sumber yang didapatkan, Interpretasi atau penafsiran, serta Historiografi atau penulisan Sejarah. Pengumpulan data atau sumber dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang berkaitan dengan Lampung Post. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, Lampung Post merupakan Surat Kabar Harian Umum tertua di Lampung, berdiri sejak 10 Agustus 1974 dengan berdasarkan surat Keputusan MENPEN RI No : 0148 SK DIRJEN P 6 SIT 1974, kemudian mendapatkan Surat izin usaha penerbitan (SIUP), hasil dari penggabungan antara dua surat kabar, yaitu SKM Pusiban dan SKM Independen. Pada tahun 1975, Lampung Post memiliki Rubrik Mimbar Jumat yang berisikan informasi Keislaman. Kemudian tahun 1994, kolom informasi tentang Keislaman berubah menjadi “Khazanah”. Dan tahun 1995, Rubrik tentang Keislaman berubah Kembali menjadi Mimbar Jumat tetapi dengan kalimat “Opini Mimbar Jumat”. Kata Kunci : Lampung Post, Surat Kabar, Rubrik iii ABSTRACT This research explains the Lampung Post General Daily Newspaper which was founded in 1974, and there is a section in the newspaper column that provides or informs about Islam. The name of the rubric or column is, Mimbar Friday, which is published on Fridays on the third page of the newspaper and printed and distributed to the public. With the Lampung Post General Daily Newspaper, the public can find out information related to the Islamic religion, especially the Lampung community. The method used in this research is the historical research method which contains four research stages, namely heuristics, source verification or criticism to differentiate the sources obtained, interpretation or interpreting, and historiography or historical writing. Collecting data or sources by observation, interviews and documentation related to Lampung Post. Based on the research results, the Lampung Post is the oldest general daily newspaper in Lampung, founded on August 10 1974 based on the Decree of the Indonesian Minister of Pension No: 0148 SK DIRJEN P 6 SIT 1974, then obtained a publishing business license (SIUP), the result of a merger between two newspapers, namely SKM Pusiban and SKM Independen. In 1975, the Lampung Post had a Friday Mimbar column which contained Islamic information. Then in 1994, the information column about Islam changed to "Khazanah".
