Abstract
ABSTRAK Sekolah pada dasarnya merupakan lingkungan yang ideal untuk mengenalkan konsep Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) kepada peserta didik, akan tetapi mayoritas peserta didik belum memahami ESD. Hal ini menekankan urgensi dari tindakan yang harus segera diambil untuk memberikan pendidikan dan informasi yang lebih baik kepada peserta didik mengenai konsep ESD dan bagaimana mereka dapat berkontribusi dalam menjaga lingkungan dan masyarakat secara berkelanjutan. Salah satu langkah penting untuk mencapai tujuan ini adalah dengan mengintegrasikan ESD ke dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, seperti melalui penggunaan e-modul berbasis ESD. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui prosedur mengembangkan e-modul biologi berbasis pendekatan education for sustainable development berbantuan platform polotno studio dan flip pdf professional, mengetahui kelayakan e-modul yang dikembangkan serta mengetahui respon pendidik dan peserta didik dengan jenis penelitian R&D (Research and Development). Model pengembangan yang digunakan ialah model Borg & Gall 7 tahapan. Subjek dari penelitian ini diantaranya yaitu 2 ahli materi, 2 ahli media, 1 ahli bahasa, pendidik dan 45 peserta didik kelas X SMAN Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu (1) angket kebutuhan peserta didik, (2) angket kebutuhan pendidik, (3) angket penilaian validasi ahli materi, media dan bahasa, (4) angket respon pendidik dan peserta didik, (5) dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian pengembangan ini didapatkan penilaian dari ahli media sebesar 88% dengan karegori “sangat layak”, ahli materi sebesar 91% dengan kategori “sangat layak”, dan penilaian ahli bahasa sebesar 90% dengan kategori “sangat layak”. Hasil respon pendidik sebesar 87% dengan kategori “sangat menarik”. Respon peserta didik pada skala terbatas sebesar 88% dan pada skala luas sebesar 90% dengan kategori “sangat menarik”. Dengan demikian didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa e-modul biologi berbasis pendekatan ESD sudah layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. iv Kata Kunci: E-Modul Biologi, Education for Sustainable Development, Polotno Studio, dan Flip PDF Professional. v ABSTRACT Schools are basically an ideal environment to introduce the concept of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) to students, however the majority of students do not yet understand ESD. This emphasizes the urgency of action that must be taken immediately to provide better education and information to students regarding the concept of ESD and how they can contribute to protecting the environment and society in a sustainable manner. One important step to achieve this goal is to integrate ESD into learning activities, such as through the use of ESD-based e-modules. This research aims to determine the procedure for developing a biology e-module based on the education for sustainable development approach with the help of the Polotno Studio and Flip PDF Professional platforms, determine the feasibility of the e-module being developed and determine the response of educators and students to this type of R&D (Research and Development) research. The development model used is the Borg & Gall 7 stage model. The subjects of this research included 2 material experts, 2 media experts, 1 language expert, educators and 45 class X students at SMAN Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung. The data collection techniques used are (1) student needs questionnaire, (2) teacher needs questionnaire, (3) material, media and language expert validation assessment questionnaire, (4) teacher and student response questionnaire, (5) documentation. The results of this development research obtained an assessment from media experts of 88% in the "very feasible" category, material experts of 91% in the "very feasible" category, and a rating of 90% from language experts in the "very feasible" category. The results of the educator response were 87% in the "very interesting" category. Student responses on a limited scale were 88% and on a broad scale were 90% in the "very interesting" category. Thus, it can be concluded that the biology e-module based on the ESD approach is suitable for use in the learning process.
