Abstract

ABSTRACT The objectives of this research were to describe the types of translation procedure, identify the dominant types of translation procedure, and analyze why type of translation procedure occurred in the El Camino a Breaking Bad Movie. The sub-focus of the research centered on subtitle of El Camino a Breaking Bad Movie. The study employed a descriptive qualitative method, analyzing El Camino a Breaking Bad Movie. The steps for analysis included, identification, description, explanation, and evaluation of Translation Procedures. The results indicated that the Translation Procedure include in El Camino a Breaking Bad Movies. These translation procedures arose from various processes depending on their types and were attributed to interlingual interference, intralingual interference, limited knowledge of English to Indonesian translation and vocabulary, and carelessness.
