Abstract

ABSTRAK IMPLIKASI TEOLOGIS KISAH ADAM DALAM PERSPEKTIF AGAMA ISLAM DAN KRISTEN Oleh Herli Yansah Kisah mengenai Adam merupakan salah satu kisah masa lampau yang dipercayai oleh beberapa agama, terutama agama abrahamik seperti agama Islam dan Kristen. Memiliki latar belakang yang sama yang membuat agama Islam dan Kristen terdapat titik temu yang sama seperti kisah Adam yang sama-sama diyakini, akan tetapi dalam persamaan tersebut pasti terdapat perbedaan. Berlandaskan perbedaan tersebut peneliti ingin melakukan penelitian yang membahas segi perbedaan, yaitu perbedaaan tentang konsekuensi dalam beberapa perkara yang dilakukan Adam serta letak posisi atau kedudukan manusia dalam sudut pandang Agama Islam dan Agama Kristen Protestan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pustaka yang bersifat deskriptif-analitik yang menggunakan kajian komparatif untuk mengupas penelitian ini yang bersumber dari dua buku sebagai representasi kisah tersebut dalam dua agama berbeda, dimana buku yang berjudul “Adam (Pencitaan Manusia Pertama)” karya Prof. Dr. Ali Muhammad As Shallabi yang menjabarkan kisah melalui prespektif Islam dan buku “Sejarah Ringkas Pemikiran Kristen” karya Abraham Linwood Urban yang menjabarkan kisah melalui prespektif Kristen Protestan. Setelah analisa yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa kisah Adam adalah kisah yang sama-sama di imani dalam Agama Islam maupun Kristen Protestan, secara umum alur cerita kisah Adam dalam kedua cerita tersebut tidak berbeda tetapi terdapat beberapa bagian yang berbeda pula seperti istilah. Terlepas dari persamaan dan perbedaan kisah Adam memiliki hikmahnya tersendiri, dalam Islam kita memahami arti kesalahan, pertaubatan serta sifat Allah Swt. Yang Maha Pengampun; sedangkan dalam Kristen Protestan kita memahami tentang konsekuensi dari segala tindakan, dan memahami pengorbanan yang dilakukan Tuhan (Yesus) demi manusia yang terjatuh dalam dosa. Lalu implikasi teologis yang dapat diambil dari kisah Adam dalam agama Islam adalah menghindari kesombongan dan ketidak patuhan serta mendorong kita selalu insstropeksi diri dan bertaubat karena Allah Swt. Maha Pengampun, sedangkan implikasi teologis dari kisah Adam adalah menghindari sifat licik dan ketidak patuhan serta mendorong seorang hamba mengimani Tuhan yang menghapuskan dosa melalui pengorbanan di tiang salib. Kata kunci: Adam, Konsekuensi, Implikasi.ABSTRACT THEOLOGICAL IMPLICATIONS OF THE STORY OF ADAM IN THE PERSPECTIVE OF ISLAMIC AND CHRISTIAN RELIGIONS By Herli Yansah Story of Adam is one of the past stories that is believed in by several religions, especially Abrahamic religions such as Islam and Christianity. Having the same background makes Islam and Christianity have the same common ground, such as the story of Adam, which is both believed, but in these similarities there are definitely differences. Based on these differences, the researcher wants to conduct research that discusses the differences, namely the differences in the consequences of several things that Adam did and the position or status of humans from the perspective of Islam and Protestant Christianity. This research is a descriptive-analytic library research that uses comparative studies to examine this research which comes from two books as representations of the story in two different religions, where the book entitled "Adam (The Dream of the First Man)" by Prof. Dr. Ali Muhammad As Shallabi which describes the story from an Islamic perspective and the book "A Brief History of Christian Thought" by Abraham Linwood Urban which describes the story from a Protestant Christian perspective. After the analysis carried out, it can be concluded that the story of Adam is a story that is equally believed in Islam and Protestant Christianity. In general, the storyline of the story of Adam in the two stories is not different, but there are several parts that are different, such as terms. Apart from the similarities and differences in Adam's story, it has its own wisdom, in Islam we understand the meaning of mistakes, repentance and the nature of Allah Swt. The Most Forgiving; whereas in Protestant Christianity we understand the consequences of all actions, and understand the sacrifice made by God (Jesus) for the sake of humans who have fallen into sin. Then the theological implication that can be taken from the story of Adam in Islam is to avoid arrogance and disobedience and encourage us to always introspect ourselves and repent because of Allah Swt. Most Forgiving, while the theological implication of the story of Adam is to avoid cunning and disobedience and to encourage a servant to believe in God who eliminates sin through sacrifice on the cross.
