Abstract

ABSTRAK Kemampuan pemahaman literasi lingkungan pada diri seseorang perlu dilatih dan ditanamkan menjadi sebuah karakter sejak dini.Tujuan literasi lingkungan adalah untuk membentuk sikap sadar dalam diri seseorang dan peduli lingkungan untuk menjaga dan mencintai lingkungan. tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis kemampuan literasi lingkungan siswa SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung pada pembelajaran biologi menggunakan instrumen Middle School Environmental Literacy Survey(MSELS). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Mixed Methods. Populasi yang digunakan yaitu seluruh peserta didik kelas X SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung. Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel Non Probability Sampling dengan metode pemilihan sampel yaitu purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, angket dan soal tes berdasarkan isntrumen MSELS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi lingkungan siswa SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampungpada aspek pengetahuan ekologi dengan persentase 66,15% dengan kriteria baik dimana siswa pada kelas X menjawab pertanyaan tes pengetahuan dengan baik, kemudian pada aspek pengaruh terhadap lingkungan(sikap) dengan persentase 67,33% dengan kriteria cukup baik dimana siswa dikelas tersebut menjawab dan memahami pernyataan dengan cukup baik, kemudian pada aspek keterampilan kognitif dengan persentase 53,69% dengan kriteria cukup baik dimana siswa dikelas tersebut dapat memahami dan menjawab pertanyaan kognitif dengan cukup baik, dan pada aspek tingkah laku dengan persentase 58,85% dengan kriteria cukup baik. Hal ini dikarenakan siswa SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung masih belum sepenuhnya memiliki sikap bertanggung jawab terhadap lingkungan. Jadi kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kemampuan literasi lingkungan siswa pada pembelajaran biologi menggunakan instrumen Middle School Environmental Literacy Survey(MSELS) tergolong cukup baik dan faktor yang mempengaruhi yaitu peserta didik masih kurang dalam memahami konsep literasi lingkungan. The purpose of this research is to analyze the literacy capabilities of students of Muhammadiyah High School 2 Bandar Lampung on biology learning using the Middle School Environmental Literacy Survey.(MSELS). This research uses the Mixed Methods method. The population used is the entire student class X of Muhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung High School. The samples in this study use a non-probability sampling technique with a method of sample selection namely purposive samplings. Data collection techniques used are observations, interviews, documentation, lifting and test questions based on MSELS. The results of the study showed that the literacy of the environmental students of Muhammadiyah High School 2 Bandar Lampung on the aspect of ecological knowledge with a percentage of 66.15% with a criterion of good where students in class X answered the knowledge test question well, then on the impact aspect on the environment (attitude) with a percent of 67.33% with fairly good criteria where the students in the class responded and understood the statement fairly well, Then on the cognitive skill aspect with a rate of 53.69% with pretty good criterions where students of the class can understand and answer the cognition question sufficiently well, and on the behavioral aspects with a proportion of 58.85% with quite good criters. This is because the students of Muhammadiyah High School 2 Bandar Lampung still do not have a fully responsible attitude towards the environment. So the conclusion in this study is that the literacy ability of the student's environment in learning biology using the instrument Middle School Environmental Literacy Survey (MSELS) belongs quite well and the influential factor is that students still lack in understanding the concept of environmental literacy.
