Abstract

ABSTRAK IDENTIFIKASI KONSEP BIOLOGI DALAM MEDIA EDUKASI DIGITAL ANIME HATARAKU SAIBOU DAN IMPLIKASINYA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI Oleh Dea Yustin Monica Anime Hataraku Saibou mengangkat tema mengenai sel-sel di dalam tubuh manusia, sehingga dapat digunakan untuk menunjang kegiatan pembelajaran biologi. Namun, anime ini juga dapat menyebabkan miskonsepsi biologi terutama pada siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis profil konsep materi biologi dan mengevaluasi kesesuaian media edukasi digital anime Hataraku Saibou dalam pembelajaran biologi. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode analisis isi. Sumber data pada penelitian ini meliputi data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer berupa data yang diperoleh dari rekaman video asli anime Hataraku Saibou. Data sekunder berupa buku-buku rujukan, dan artikel jurnal ilmiah yang digunakan sebagai pembanding. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep-konsep materi yang ditemukan dalam episode 1-13 diantaranya konsep fisiologis tubuh, konsep imunologis, dan konsep tentang sistem peredaran darah manusia. Terdapat 11 miskonsepsi pada anime Hataraku Saibou, meliputi empat miskonsepsi materi sistem peredaran darah dan tujuh miskonsepsi materi sistem imunitas. Terdapat sembilan miskonsepsi dengan kategori misidentifications dengan persentase 81,81%, satu miskonsepsi kategori overgeneralizations dengan persentase 9,09%, dan satu miskonsepsi kategori oversimplifications dengan persentase 9,09%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa anime Hataraku Saibou mengandung miskonsepsi. Namun, anime Hataraku Saibou masih layak untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran materi sistem peredaran darah dan sistem imunitas asalkan guru memberikan klarifikasi pada konsep-konsep yang salah sehingga tidak menimbulkan miskonsepsi pada siswa. However, this anime can also cause biology misconceptions, especially in students. This study aims to analyze the concept profile of biological material and evaluate the suitability of digital educational media anime Hataraku Saibou. This research is descriptive qualitative research with content analysis method. The data sources in this research include primary data and secondary data. Primary data in the form of data obtained from the original video recording of the Hataraku Saibou anime. Secondary data in the form of books, journals, and other sources that can be used as a comparison. The instrument used in this research is an observation sheet. The result showed that the material concepts found in episodes 1-13 included physiological body concepsts, immunological concepts, and concepts about human boold circulation. There were 11 misconceptions in the anime Hataraku Saibou, including four misconceptions of circulatory system material and seven misconceptions of immune system material. There are nine misconceptions in the category of misidentifications with percentage of 81,81%, one misconceptions in the category of overgeneralizations with percentage of 9,09%, and one misconceptions in the category of oversimplifications with a percentage 9,09%. Based on the research results, it can be conclude that the anime Hataraku Saibou contains misconceptions. However, the Hataraku Saibou anime is still suitable for use as a learning medium for circulatory system and immune system material as long as the teacher provides clarification on incorrect concepts so as not to cause misconceptions in students.
