Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh strategi transformasi bisnis, teknologi, dan sumber daya manusia terhadap kinerja Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) menurut perspektif bisnis Islam pada PDAM Way Rilau Kota Bandar Lampung. Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya penerapan ESG sebagai upaya meningkatkan keberlanjutan organisasi, transparansi tata kelola, serta kualitas pelayanan publik. Perspektif bisnis Islam digunakan sebagai landasan etis yang menekankan nilai amanah, keadilan, tanggung jawab, dan kemaslahatan dalam mendukung implementasi ESG di perusahaan daerah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 100 pegawai tetap PDAM Way Rilau yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dari populasi sebanyak 236 pegawai. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) melalui aplikasi SmartPLS 4.0. Pengujian meliputi uji validitas, reliabilitas, koefisien determinasi (R²), dan uji hipotesis (path coefficient) untuk mengetahui hubungan antarvariabel penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi transformasi bisnis, teknologi, dan sumber daya manusia berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja ESG. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi transformasi bisnis, teknologi, dan sumber daya manusia yang selaras dengan prinsip-prinsip bisnis Islam mampu mendukung peningkatan kinerja ESG secara berkelanjutan pada PDAM Way Rilau Kota Bandar Lampung. ABSTRACT This study aims toanalyze the impact of business transformation, technology, and human resource strategies on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance from an Islamic business perspective at PDAM Way Rilau in Bandar Lampung. The research is motivated by the importance of implementing ESG as an effort to enhance organizational sustainability, governance transparency, and the quality of public services. The Islamic business perspective is used as an ethical foundation that emphasizes the values of trust, justice, responsibility, and the public good in supporting the implementation of ESG in regional enterprises. This study employed a quantitative approach, using a questionnaire distributed to 100 permanent employees of PDAM Way Rilau, who were selected using purposive sampling from a population of 236 employees. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method via the SmartPLS 4.0 software. The analysis included validity and reliability tests, the coefficient of determination (R²), and hypothesis testing (path coefficients) to determine the relationships among the study variables. The results of the study indicate that business transformation, technology, and human resource strategies have a positive and significant impact on ESG performance. These findings suggest that the integration of business transformation, technology, and human resources—aligned with the principles of Islamic business—can support sustainable improvements in ESG performance at PDAM Way Rilau in Bandar Lampung.
