Abstract

ABSTRAK Kepercayaan diri dalam pembelajaran matematika merupakan salah satu faktor psikologis yang berperan penting dalam menentukan keberhasilan akademik mahasiswa. Tingkat kepercayaan diri tidak hanya dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan kognitif, tetapi juga oleh faktor afektif dan kesehatan mental, seperti kecerdasan emosional, selfregulated learning, dan depresi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kecerdasan emosional dan self-regulated learning terhadap kepercayaan diri dalam pembelajaran matematika serta menguji peran depresi sebagai variabel moderator pada hubungan tersebut. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran angket kepada 270 mahasiswa strata satu (S1) yang terdiri atas 210 mahasiswa Indonesia dan 60 mahasiswa internasional dari Thailand dan Nigeria. ABSTRACT Mathematics learning confidence is an important psychological factor that contributes to students’ academic success. Confidence in learning mathematics is influenced not only by cognitive abilities but also by affective and mental health factors, including emotional intelligence, self-regulated learning, and depression. This study aimed to examine the effects of emotional intelligence and selfregulated learning on mathematics learning confidence and to investigate the moderating role of depression in these relationships. A quantitative correlational design was employed in this research. Data were collected through questionnaires administered to 270 undergraduate students, consisting of 210 Indonesian students and 60 international students from Thailand and Nigeria.
