Abstract

ABSTRAK Model pembelajaran Heuristic Vee telah diadopsi oleh pendidik dalam kegiatan pengajaran dan pembelajaran di sekolah pada berbagai jenjang pendidikan. Namun, penelitian yang mengkaji secara menyeluruh dampak penerapan pembelajaran Heuristic Vee terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa masih terbatas. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran heuristic vee terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dalam beberapa tahun terakhir berdasarkan keseluruhan, jenjang pendidikan, serta wilayah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode meta-analisis dengan pendekatan group contras serta metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder berupa artikel jurnal ilmiah yang diperoleh dari basis data Publish or Perish. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas tujuh artikel jurnal ilmiah yang telah diterbitkan dan memenuhi kriteria inklusi serta eksklusi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar pengodean data. Hasil penelitian meta analisis menunjukkan pengaruh model pembelajaran Heuristic Vee memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa, dengan rata-rata effect size secara keseluruhan adalah 2,53 dan masuk kedalam kategori effect size besar berdasarkan interpretasi Cohen. Data pada jenjang pendidikan, effect size yang diperoleh jenjang SMP yaitu 1,494, dan Perguruan Tinggi yaitu 5,085. Sementara berdasarkan pembagian wilayah, model pembelajaran heuristic vee banyak diteliti oleh Indonesia dengan effect size besar yaitu 0,856, lalu Malaysia memiliki effect size 4,441, sementara itu Turkey memiliki effect size terbesar yaitu 5,228. Dari penelitian ditemukan bahwa model pembelajaran Heuristic Vee terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. ABSTRACT The Heuristic Vee learning model has been adopted by educators in teaching and learning activities in schools across various levels of education. However, studies that comprehensively examine the impact of implementing the Heuristic Vee learning model on students’ mathematical conceptual understanding remain limited. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effect of the Heuristic Vee learning model on students’ mathematical conceptual understanding in recent years based on overall results, educational level, and region. This study employed a meta-analysis method with a group contrast approach and a descriptive quantitative method. The data used were secondary data in the form of scientific journal articles obtained from the Publish or Perish database. The research sample consisted of seven published scientific journal articles that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The research instrument used was a data coding sheet. The results of this meta-analysis indicate that the Heuristic Vee learning model exerts a significant influence on students' conceptual understanding. The findings reveal an overall average effect size of 2.53, which, according to Cohen’s interpretation, falls into the "large" category. When analyzed by educational level, the effect sizes obtained were 1.494 for junior high school and 5.085 for higher education. Furthermore, geographical distribution shows that while the Heuristic Vee model has been extensively studied in Indonesia with a substantial effect size of 0.856, Malaysia recorded a higher effect size of 4.441. Turkey, however, demonstrated the most significant impact with an effect size of 5.228. Ultimately, the study confirms that the Heuristic Vee learning model is highly effective in enhancing students' mathematical conceptual understanding.
