Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian Quasi eksperiment dengan desain post test only control group. Tujuannya untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran project based learning (X) terhadap kemampuan spatial (Y1) dan representasi (Y2) peserta didik kelas VIII SMPN 2 Kalirejo tahun ajaran 2025/2026. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Kalirejo dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 2 kelas yaitu kelas VIII B dan kelas VIII C dengan jumlah masing-masing kelas 32 siswa. Tenik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Instrument yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data berupa test essay. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistic deskriptif dan Manova dengan taraf signifikan (α) sebesar 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil deskriptif diperoleh nilai rata-rata dari data kemampuan spatial sebesar 11,66 dan nilai rata-rata kemampuan representasi sebesar 12.22. Dari hasil analisis tersebut telah didapat maka H0 diterima dan nilai α kriteria uji = 0,05 yang berarti p-value lebih besar dibandingkan nilai α. Demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran project based learning berbantuan kompatibilitas multi-platfromterhadap kemampuan spatial dan representasi. The aim was to determine the effect of the project based learning model on the spatial and representational abilities of eighth-grade students at SMPN 2 Kalirejo in the 2025/2026 academic year. The population in this study were students of class VIII of SMPN 2 Kalirejo with a research sampel of 2 classes, namely class VIII B and class VIII C with a total of 32 students in each class. The sampling technique used was random sampling. The instrument used to collect data was an essay test. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive statistic and MANOVA with a significance (α) level of 0,05. Based on the descriptive results, the average value of spatial ability data was 11.66 and the average value of representation ability wa 12.22. from the results of the analysis, it wa obtained,that H0 is accepted and the α of the test criteria = 0,05 which means the p-value is greater than the α. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the project based learning model assisted by multi-platfrom compatibility on spatial and representation abilities.
