Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Rotating Trio Exchange, tipe kepribadian, serta interaksi keduanya terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan desain Non-equivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X SMA Hidayatul Muslihin Way Kanan. Sampel terdiri dari kelas X MIPA 1 sebanyak 28 peserta didik sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diberikan perlakuan Model Rotating Trio Exchange, dan kelas X MIPA 2 sebanyak 27 peserta didik sebagai kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model Direct Learning, sehingga total sampel berjumlah 55 peserta didik. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes pemahaman konsep matematis berupa 7 butir soal posttest yang telah diuji validitas, reliabilitas, daya beda, dan tingkat kesukaran, serta angket tipe kepribadian sebanyak 60 butir pernyataan yang telah melalui uji validitas ahli. Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji ANAVA dua jalur dilanjutkan dengan uji Tukey. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan Model Pembelajaran Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis, di mana nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol; (2) terdapat pengaruh signifikan tipe kepribadian terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis, dan (3) terdapat interaksi signifikan antara model pembelajaran Rotating Trio Exchane (RTE) dengan tipe kepribadian dimensi Myer-Briggs terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis. Hasil uji lanjut Tukey menunjukkan bahwa tipe Rational memiliki pemahaman konsep tertinggi, disusul Guardian, Idealist, dan Artisan. Dengan demikian, Model Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) dan karakteristik kepribadian terbukti berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik. Kata kunci: Rotating Trio Exchange, Direct Learning, tipe kepribadian, pemahaman konsep matematis ii ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the influence of the Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) Learning Model, personality types, and the interaction between the two on students’ mathematical concept understanding. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The population consisted of all tenth-grade students at SMA Hidayatul Muslihin Way Kanan. The sample included 28 students from class X MIPA 1 as the experimental group, which received the Rotating Trio Exchange treatment, and 27 students from class X MIPA 2 as the control group, which was taught using the Direct Learning model, resulting in a total of 55 students. The data collection instruments consisted of a mathematical concept understanding test comprising 7 post-test items that were validated through reliability, discrimination index, and difficulty level tests, as well as a personality type questionnaire composed of 60 items validated by expert judgment. Data analysis was conducted using a two-way ANOVA followed by Tukey’s post-hoc test. The results indicate that: (1) the Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) Learning Model has a significant effect on students’ mathematical concept understanding, with the experimental group achieving higher average scores than the control group; (2) personality type has a significant effect on mathematical concept understanding; and (3) there is a significant interaction between the Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) model and the Myer–Briggs personality dimensions on students’ mathematical concept understanding. The Tukey post-hoc test further shows that students with the Rational personality type demonstrated the highest conceptual understanding, followed by Guardian, Idealist, and Artisan. Therefore, the Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) model and personality characteristics are proven to contribute to the improvement of students’ mathematical concept understanding..
