Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran POGIL terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis. Metode penelitian menggunakan quasy exsperiment dengan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP It Smart Insani. Teknik pengambilan sampel berupa teknik cluster sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes kemampuan berpikir kritis berjumlah 5 soal dalam bentuk essay yang telah diuji validitasnya. Hasil data tersebut kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik. Hasil diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa model pembelajaran POGIL berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan hasil data dengan uji t independen adalah dilihat pada bagian sig (2-tailed) maka nilainya kurang dari 0,05 yaitu 0,003 maka 0,003 < 0,05 maka model pembelajaran POGIL memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis. Kata Kunci : Model Pembelajaran POGIL, Berpikir Kritis iii ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the influence of the POGIL learning model on mathematical critical thinking skills. The research method uses a quasi-experiment with a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were all students of class VII of SMP It Smart Insani. The sampling technique was a cluster sampling technique. The instrument used was a critical thinking ability test consisting of 5 questions in the form of essays that had been tested for validity. The results of the data were then analyzed using statistical tests. The results obtained the conclusion that the POGIL learning model has an effect on mathematical critical thinking skills. This is indicated by the results of the data with the independent t test is seen in the sig section (2-tailed) then the value is less than 0.05 which is 0.003 then 0.003 <0.05 then the POGIL learning model has a significant effect on mathematical critical thinking skills.
