Abstract

ABSTRAK Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis merupakan suatu kemampuan untuk menemukan solusi penyelesain dari suatu permasalahan. penalaran matematis merupakan kompetensi dasar dalam belajar matematika yang meliputi kemampuan peserta didik dalam menyerap materi, mengingat rumus dan konsep matematika. Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh model pembelajaran MMP terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan penalaran matematis ditinjau dari kemandirian belajar siswa. Penulisan ini merupakan penulisan quasy eksperimental design. Populasi penulisan ini yaitu seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 03 Bunga Mayang dan teknik pengambilan sampel dengan cluser random sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis MANOVA. Hasil penulisan ini menunjukkan bahwa, (1) Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran MMP terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis (2) Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran MMP terhadap penalaran matematis. (3) Tidak terdapat pengaruh kemandirian belajar siswa terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis (4) Tidak terdapat pengaruh kemandirian belajar siswa terhadap penalaran matematis (5) Tidak terdapat pengaruh antara model pembelajaran MMP dan kemandirian belajar siswa terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. (6) Tidak terdapat pengaruh antara model pembelajaran MMP kemandirian belajar siswa terhadap penalaran matematis. Kata Kunci : MMP,kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis, penalaran matematis, kemandirian belajar iii ABSTRACT Mathematical problem solving ability is an ability to find a solution to a problem. Mathematical reasoning is a basic competency in learning mathematics which includes students' ability to absorb material, remember mathematical formulas and concepts. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of the MMP learning model on mathematical problem solving and mathematical reasoning abilities in terms of student learning independence. This study is a quasi-experimental design study. The population of this study was all students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 03 Bunga Mayang and the sampling technique was cluster random sampling. The data analysis techniques used were normality test, homogeneity test, and MANOVA hypothesis test. The results of this study indicate that, (1) There is an influence of the MMP learning model on mathematical problem solving abilities (2) There is an influence of the MMP learning model on mathematical reasoning. (3) There is no influence of student learning independence on mathematical problem solving ability (4) There is no influence of student learning independence on mathematical reasoning (5) There is no influence between the MMP learning model and student learning independence on mathematical problem solving ability. (6) There is no influence between the MMP learning model and student learning independence on mathematical reasoning.
