Abstract

ABSTRAK Kemampuan memecahkan masalah dan memahami konsep matematika dapat membantu siswa memahami materi lebih kompleks serta berpikir lebih kritis. Merujuk pada hasil pra penelitian yang sudah dilakukan pada kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Banyumas didapatkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan pemahaman konsep siswa masih tergolong rendah. Melihat hal ini, maka penulis tertarik melakukan penelitian dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Hypothetical Learning Trajectory berbantuan media YouTube. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat apakah ada pengaruh model pembelajaran Hypothetical Learning Trajectory berbantuan media YouTube terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian Quasi Experimental Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII UPT SMP Negeri 1 Banyumas dengan tiga sampel penelitian yaitu kelas eksperimen 1, kelas eksperimen 2 dan kelas kontrol yang dipilih melalui ternik cluster random sampling. Intrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah instrumen berbentuk tes. Tes yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa soal uraian untuk mengukur kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Selanjutnya, data yang sudah terkumpul akan dianalisi melalui uji prasyarat dan uji hipotesis. Hasil analisis melalui uji MANOVA dengan taraf signifikan 5% dan diperoleh hasil kesimpulan (1) Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Hypothetical Learning Trajectory berantuan media YouTube terhadap pemecahan masalah dan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa, (2) Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Hypothetical Learning Trajectory berantuan media YouTube terhadap pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dan (3) Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Hypothetical Learning Trajectory berantuan media YouTube terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Kata Kunci : Model Hypothetical Learning Trajectory, Pemecahan Masalah, Pemahaman Konsep. iv ABSTRACT The ability to solve problems and understand mathematical concepts can help students understand more complex material and think more critically. Referring to the results of pre-research conducted in class VIII at SMP Negeri 1 Banyumas, it was found that students' problem solving abilities and understanding of concepts were still relatively low. Seeing this, the author is interested in conducting research by applying the Hypothetical Learning Trajectory learning model assisted by YouTube media. The aim of this research is to see whether there is an influence of the Hypothetical Learning Trajectory learning model assisted by YouTube media on students' problem solving abilities and understanding of mathematical concepts. The method in this research uses quantitative research and Quasi Experimental Design research type. The population in this study were all students of class VIII UPT SMP Negeri 1 Banyumas with three research samples, namely experimental class 1, experimental class 2 and control class selected through cluster random sampling techniques. The instrument used in this research is a test instrument. The test used in this research is in the form of essay questions to measure students' problem solving abilities and understanding of mathematical concepts. Next, the data that has been collected will be analyzed through prerequisite tests and hypothesis testing. The results of the analysis through the MANOVA test with a significance level of 5% and the conclusions obtained are (1) There is an influence of the Hypothetical Learning Trajectory learning model assisted by YouTube media on students' problem solving and understanding of mathematical concepts, (2) There is an influence of the Hypothetical Learning Trajectory learning model assisted by YouTube media on solving students' mathematical problems and (3) There is an influence of the Hypothetical Learning Trajectory learning model using YouTube media on students' understanding of mathematical concepts.
