Abstract

ABSTRAK Pemahaman konsep matematis dan kemampuan penalaran dalam pembelajaran matematika merupakan suatu kemampuan yang harus dikuasai oleh siswa. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk melihat adanya pengaruh model pembelajaran EL-CPA berbantuan wall chart terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis dan kemampuan penalaran ditinjau dari self reward siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantintatif dengan jenis Quasy Eksperimental Design. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPIT Bustanul Ulum dengan populasi berjumlah 158 siswa. Sampel dalm penelitian ini yaitu kelas VIII C sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan model EL�CPA berbantuan wall chart dan kelas VIII E sebagai kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan model konvensional. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes, angket, dan observasi. Pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji Two Way Manova. Berdasarkan data hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa, pemahaman konsep matematis dan kemampuan penalaran siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran EL-CPA berbantuan wall chart lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran ekspositori, namun dapat diketahui bahwa kemampuan penalaran siswa lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pemahaman konsep dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran EL-CPA berbantuan wall chart dan siswa lebih baik dengan self reward tinggi dibandingkan self reward sedang dan rendah. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of the EL-CPA learning model assisted by wall charts on understanding mathematical concepts and reasoning skills in terms of students' self reward. This research is a quantitative research with the type of Quasy Experimental Design. The subjects in this study were VIII grade students of SMPIT Bustanul Ulum with a population of 158 students. The sample in this study is class VIII C as an experimental class using the EL-CPA model assisted by a wall chart and class VIII E as a control class using a conventional model. Data collection techniques in the form of tests, questionnaires, and observations. Hypothesis testing in this study used the Two Way Manova test. Based on the research data, it can be concluded that, understanding of mathematical concepts and reasoning skills of students using the EL-CPA learning model assisted by wall charts is better than students using the expository learning model, but it can be seen that students' reasoning skills are better than understanding concepts by applying the EL-CPA learning model assisted by wall charts and students are better with high self reward than medium and low self reward.
