Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak model HLT berbantuan socrative dan self awareness terhadap kemampuan numerik dan pemahaman konsep matematis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian quasy eksperimental design dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Gajah Mada Bandar Lampung. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu kelas VIII A selaku kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII B selaku kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu angket, tes dan observasi. Analisis data menggunakan uji two way MANOVA dengan berbantuan aplikasi SPSS. Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kemampuan numerik dan pemahaman konsep siswa dengan menerapkan model HLT berbantuan socrative lebih baik daripada siswa yang menerapkan model pembelajaran direct instructon, tetapi perlu diketahui bahwa pemahaman konsep siswa lebih baik daripada kemampuan numerik dengan menerapkan model HLT berbantuan socrative dan siswa lebih baik dengan self awareness tinggi daripada self awareness sedang dan self awareness rendah. Kata kunci : Model Pembelajaran HLT, Socrative Quiz, Kemampuan Numerik, Pemahaman Konsep Matematis dan Self Awareness. iv ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the impact of HLT model assisted by socrative and self awareness on numerical ability and understanding of mathematical concepts. This research used quantitative approach with quasy experimental design and cluster random sampling technique. The subjects of this research were students of grade VIII of Gajah Mada Junior High School Bandar Lampung. The samples in this study were class VIII A as the experimental class and class VIII B as the control class. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires, tests and observations. Data analysis used two way MANOVA test with the help of SPSS application. The results in this study showed that the numerical ability and concept understanding of students by applying the HLT model assisted by socrative were better than students who applied the direct instructon learning model, but it should be noted that students' concept understanding was better than numerical ability by applying the HLT model assisted by socrative and students were better with high self awareness than moderate self awareness and low self awareness.
