Abstract

ABSTRAK Model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) telah banyak dilakukan oleh seluruh jenjang pendidikan untuk proses belajar mengajar diimplementasikan di sekolah. Belum ada kajian yang mencakup pada pembelajaran PBL terhadap hasil belajar selama dan setelah pandemi covid-19 dalam konteks yang lebih luas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh model pembelajaran PBL terhadap hasil belajar selama dan setelah pandemi covid-19 berdasarkan keseluruhan, jenjang pendidikan, serta status pandemi. Penelitian ini adalah pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian meta-analisis group contras. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah delapan jurnal artikel penelitian terpublikasi terkait dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Data yang digunakan data sekunder yaitu artikel jurnal ilmiah database scopus. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah coding data atau lembar pemberian kode. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian meta-analisis ini, ditemukan bahwa model pembelajaran problem based learning memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa satu artikel menunjukkan efek besar, lima artikel menunjukkan efek sedang, dan satu artikel menunjukkan efek kecil.. Secara keseluruhan, rata-rata besar pengaruh model pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap hasil belajar adalah sebesar 0,8783. Pada jenjang pendidikan Sekolah Dasar, effect size mencapai 1,061. Sementara itu status setelah pandemi covid-19, effect size mencapai 1,002. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran problem based learning terbukti sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, khususnya pada jenjang Sekolah Dasar setelah pandemi covid-19. Kata Kunci: Meta-analisis, model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL), Hasil Belajar. iii ABSTRACT The Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model has been widely practiced by all levels of education for the teaching and learning process implemented in schools. There has been no study that includes PBL learning on learning outcomes during and after the covid-19 pandemic in a broader context. This study aims to determine how much influence the PBL learning model has on learning outcomes during and after the covid-19 pandemic based on overall, education level, and pandemic status. This research is a quantitative descriptive approach with the type of meta-analysis group contras research. The samples in this study were eight published journal research articles related to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The data used secondary data, namely scientific journal articles in the Scopus database. The instrument used in this research is data coding or coding sheet. Based on the results of this meta-analysis study, it was found that the problem-based learning model has a significant effect on learning outcomes. The analysis showed that one article showed a large effect, five articles showed a medium effect, and one article showed a small effect. Overall, the average effect size of the problem�based learning model on learning outcomes is 0.8783. At the elementary school level, the effect size reached 1.086. Meanwhile, the status after the covid-19 pandemic, the effect size reached 0.807. Thus, the problem-based learning model is proven to be very effective in improving student learning outcomes, especially at the elementary school level after the covid-19 pandemic.
