Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitain ini bertujuan menganalisis Learning obstacle (Hambatan Belajar) yang dialami siswa SMP pada materi luas dan volume kubus, khususnya pada penerapan penalaran matematis. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Research and Development dengan model penelitian menggunakan descriptive model menurut Johanssen, yang melalui 3 tahapan, yaitu (1) Analisis situasi didaktis sebelum pembelajaran, (2) Analisis metapedadidaktik, (3) Analisis retrosfektif. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu dua kelas pada SMP Abadi Perkasa dengan jumlah 54 peserta didik sedangkan pada sampel yaitu diambil satu kelas dengan jumlah 27 peserta didik. Hasil validasi ahli materi terhadap bahan ajar desain didaktis didapatkan hasil rata-rata total 3,4 dengan kriteria valid sedangkan respons siswa didapatkan hasil rata-rata total 3,6 dengan kriteria sangat menarik. Efektivitas bahan ajar desain didaktis didapatkan hasil rata-rata total yaitu 55,74% dengan kriteria cukup efektif. Dengan demikian, bahan ajar desain didaktis materi luas dan volume kubus terhadap penalaran matematis layak, menarik dan efektif untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Kata kunci: desain didaktis, penalaran matematis, luas dan volume kubus iii ABSTRACT His research aims to analyze the learning obstacles experienced by junior high school students regarding the topic of surface area and volume of cubes, particularly in the application of mathematical reasoning. This study employs a Research and Development approach using a descriptive model according to Johanssen, which consists of three stages: (1) Analysis of the didactic situation before learning, (2) Metapedagogical analysis, and (3) Retrospective analysis. The population for this study consists of two classes at SMP Abadi Perkasa with a total of 54 students, while the sample is taken from one class with 27 students. The results of expert validation on the instructional materials showed an average total score of 3.4, categorized as valid, while student responses yielded an average total score of 3.6, categorized as very interesting. The effectiveness of the instructional materials achieved an average total score of 55.74%, categorized as moderately effective. Thus, the instructional materials designed for the topic of surface area and volume of cubes in relation to mathematical reasoning are deemed appropriate, interesting, and effective for use in teaching.
