Abstract
ABSTRAK Kegiatan pembelajaran jarak jauh memberi dampak learning loss pada kalangan siswa dan mahasiswa. Penelitian terdahulu juga menemukan bahwa adanya perbedaan dampak pandemi Covid-19 terhadap kerugian belajar dibidang matematika, sosial dan sains. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui perbedaan dampak learning loss pada level pendikan sekolah dasar menengah, dan perguruan tinggi, selain itu penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan dampak learning loss pada mata pelajaran matematika, sosial, dan sains. Pengumpulan data berupa artikel dari database scopus yang melakukan publish pada saat pasca terjadinya Covid-19 yaitu tahun 2022-2023. Keseluruhan jurnal yang diteliti dengan metode meta analisis pada penelitian ini sebanyak 728 jurnal dan menyisakan 10 jurnal yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi. Hasil perhitungan effect size tertinggi mencapai nilai 3,148 dan hasil effect size terendah bernilai -0,920. Perhitungan summary effec size dengan random effect model menghasilkan nilai etimate positif bahwa pandemi Covid-19 berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kerugian belajar (Learning loss) pasca terjadinya Covid-19 di dunia. Hasil analisis sub grub untuk level pendidikan pendidikan menunjukkan bahwa nilai estimate tertinggi (M = 0,910) ada pada sekolah dasar, nilai estimate tererndah pada level sekolah menengah dengan (M = 0,362), dan level perguruan tinggi menempati urutan tengah dengan (M=0,896). Hasil analisis sub grub pada mata pelajaran matematika menghasilkan nilai estimate tertinggi sebesar (M = 1,784), Mata pelajaran sains menempati ururtan kedua dengan nilai estimate sebesar (M = 0,801) dan mata pelajaran sosial memiliki nilai estimate terendah sebesar (M = 0,046). Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa level sekolah yang paling merasakan learning loss adalah level Pendidikan sekolah dasar dan mata pelajaran yang paling terdampak learning loss adalah matematika. Previous research has also found differences in the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on learning loss in mathematics, social studies, and science. The purpose of this research is to determine the differences in the impact of learning loss at the levels of secondary education and higher education, as well as to identify the differences in learning loss across subjects of mathematics, social studies, and science. Data collection involved articles from the Scopus database published in the post-Covid-19 period, specifically in 2022-2023. A total of 728 journals were examined using meta analysis methods, resulting in 10 journals that met the inclusion criteria. The results showed that the highest effect size reached a value of 3.148, while the lowest effect size was -0.920. The summary effect size calculation using a random effects model yielded a positive estimate (M=0.788) with a significance level indicating that the Covid-19 pandemic significantly influenced learning loss globally after its occurrence. Subgroup analysis by education level revealed that the highest estimate (M = 0.910) was at the primary school level, while the lowest estimate (M = 0.362) was at the secondary school level, with higher education in between (M = 0.896). Subgroup analysis by subject showed that mathematics had the highest estimate (M = 1.784), followed by science (M = 0.801), and social studies had the lowest estimate (M = 0.046). This indicates that the education level most affected by learning loss is primary school, and the subject most impacted by learning loss is mathematics.
