Abstract
ABSTRAK Pandemi Covid-19 memiliki dampak di bidang pendidikan yang menyebabkan terjadinya penurunan pembelajaran akibat penutupan sekolah di seluruh belahan dunia tak terkecuali di Benua Eropa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi pengaruh pandemi covid-19 terhadap penurunan pembelajaran di Benua Eropa, serta melihat pengaruhnya berdasarkan jenjang pendidikan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data sekunder yang diperoleh melalui database Scopus. Sebanyak sepuluh studi primer relevan yang diterbitkan dalam jurnal Eropa selama 2019-2023 dianalisis menggunakan metode meta analisis dengan tahapan PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Item for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis). Persamaan Hedge’s dipilih untuk menentukan effect size yang diperoleh melalui software openMEE. Uji heterogenitas, summary effect, forest plot dan validasi data bias publikasi diperoleh melalui software JASP 0.16.4.0 dengan menggunakan metode meta analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pandemi covid-19 memiliki pengaruh terhadap penurunan pembelajaran di Benua Eropa dengan nilai effect size sebesar -0,366 dengan kategori lemah yang artinya meskipun bernilai negatif pandemi covid-19 ini tetap memiliki dampak pada penurunan pembelajaran di Benua Eropa namun sangat kecil karena termasuk pada kategori lemah. Selain itu berdasarkan jenjang pendidikan, penurunan pembelajaran akibat pandemi covid-19 yang terjadi di Benua Eropa tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan dan paling besar adalah berdampak pada tingkat pendidikan dasar dengan nilai estimate 0,063 sedangkan paling kecil berdampak pada tingkat pendidikan tinggi dengan nilai estimate -0,461. This study aims to determine the contribution of the influence of the Covid-19 pandemic on the decline in learning in Europe, and to see its influence based on education level. This type of research is quantitative research with a quantitative descriptive approach. This study uses secondary data collection techniques obtained through the Scopus database. A total of ten relevant primary studies published in European journals during 2019-2023 were analyzed using the meta-analysis method with the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Item for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis) stages. The Hedge's equation was chosen to determine the effect size obtained through the openMEE software. Heterogeneity tests, summary effects, forest plots and publication bias data validation were obtained through JASP 0.16.4.0 software using the meta-analysis method. The results of the study show that the Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on the decline in learning in the European Continent with an effect size value of -0.366 with a weak category, which means that even though it has a negative value, the Covid-19 pandemic still has an impact on the decline in learning in the European Continent, but it is very small because it is included in the weak category. In addition, based on the level of education, the decline in learning due to the Covid-19 pandemic that occurred in the European Continent did not have a significant effect and the largest impact was on the basic education level with an estimate value of 0.063 while the smallest impact was on the higher education level with an estimate value of - 0.461.
