Abstract

ABSTRAK Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan keterampilan esensial dalam pembelajaran matematika yang memungkinkan siswa untuk menganalisis, mengevaluasi, dan menyelesaikan masalah secara efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan model Project-Based Learning (PjBL) dengan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik, ditinjau dari aspek self�efficacy mereka. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari hasil pra penelitian yang menginformasikan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis peserta didik masih cukup rendah. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Gajah Mada Bandar Lampung, dalam penelitiannya menggunakan dua kelas eksperimen dan satu kelas kontrol. Metode yang dipakai yaitu Quasi Eksperiment dengan desain factorial 3x3. Untuk mengukur peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa melalui perhitungan N-Gain Score, berdasarkan hasil pretest dan posttest. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah Two Way Annava dengan taraf signifkan 0.05. Berdasarkan hasil analis data dan hasil hipotesis dapat ditarik Kesimpulan yaitu (1).Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran PjBL dengan pendekatan CTL terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis peserta didik. (2).Terdapat pengaruh Self-Efficacy terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis peserta didik. (3).Tidak terdapat interaksi antara model Project Based Learning dengan pendekatan Contekstual Teaching and Learning dan self-efficacy terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis peserta didik. Kata Kunci : Model Pembelajaran Project Based Learning , Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Matematis, Self-efficacy, Contekstual Teaching and Learning iv ABSTRACT Critical thinking ability is an essential skill in mathematics learning that enables students to analyze, evaluate, and solve problems effectively. This study aims to analyze the effect of applying the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model with the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach on improving students' critical thinking skills, in terms of their self-efficacy. This study was motivated by the results of pre-research which informed that the students' mathematical critical thinking skills were still quite low. The population of this study was grade VIII students of Gajah Mada Junior High School Bandar Lampung, in the study using two experimental classes and one control class. The method used is Quasi Experiment with 3x3 factorial design. To measure the improvement of students' critical thinking skills through the calculation of the N-Gain Score, based on the results of the pretest and posttest. The data analysis used is Two Way Annava with a significant level of 0.05. Based on the results of data analysis and hypothesis results, conclusions can be drawn, namely (1). There is an effect of the PjBL learning model with a CTL approach to students' mathematical critical thinking skills. (2). There is an effect of Self-Efficacy on students' mathematical critical thinking skills. (3). There is no interaction between the Project Based Learning model with the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach and self-efficacy on students' mathematical critical thinking skills.
