Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran JUCAMA terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis ditunjau dari tipe kepribadian Hippocrates Galenus siswa. Bersumber dari hasil pra-penelitian yang diperoleh bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa masih tergolong rendah, karena penerapan model pembelajarannya yang kurang sesuai. Tingkat kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa berbeda�beda, hal ini dipengaruhi oleh tipe kepribadian siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan data yang dipakai adalah cluster random sampling dengan materi pola bilangan. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes dan angket. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Semendawai Timur. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII-3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII-4 sebagai kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pengujian hipotesis yang telah dilakukan dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa 1) terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran JUCAMA terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa, 2) tidak terdapat pengaruh tipe kepribadian terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa, dan 3) tidak terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara model pembelajaran JUCAMA dengan tipe kepribadian terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran JUCAMA, Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis, Tipe Kepribadian iv ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of JUCAMA learning model on mathematical problem solving ability in terms of students' Hippocrates Galenus personality type. Based on the results of pre�research obtained that students' mathematical problem solving ability is still relatively low, because the application of the learning model is not suitable. The level of students' mathematical problem solving ability is different, this is influenced by the student's personality type. This research is a quantitative research. The data collection technique used was cluster random sampling with number pattern material. The instruments used were tests and questionnaires. The population of this study was all VIII grade of SMP Negeri 1 Semendawai Timur. The samples in this study were class VIII-3 as the experimental class and class VIII-4 as the control class. Based on the results of data analysis and hypothesis testing that has been done, it can be concluded that 1) there is an effect of JUCAMA learning model on students„ mathematical problem solving ability, 2) there is no effect of personality type on students‟ mathematical problem solving ability, and 3) there is no interaction effect between JUCAMA learning model and personality type on students' mathematical problem solving ability.
