Abstract

ABSTRAK Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dikuasai oleh setiap peserta didik guna menyelesaikan berbagai permasalahan matematika. Berdasarkan hasil pra penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung masih tergolong rendah, hal ini terlihat dari hasil ulangan harian dimana peserta didik yang memperoleh nilai di atas KKM sebanyak 72 dari 307 peserta didik. Peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran snowball throwing menggunakan index card match dalam iupaya imeningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan imasalah iditinjau idari igaya ibelajar peserta ididik. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Quasy Eksperimental Design dengan rancangan penelitian faktorial 2 × 3. Sampel penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa dokumentasi, wawancara, angket dan tes. Teknik analisis data yaitu uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji ANOVA dua jalan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan perhitungan uji anova dua jalan, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing menggunakan Index Card Match terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik. Tidak terdapat pengaruh peserta didik yang memiliki kategori gaya belajar dengan kategori auditorial, visual, dan kinestetik terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik. Tidak terdapat interaksi antara perlakuan model pembelajaran model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing menggunakan Index Card Match dan kategori gaya belajar terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Based on pre�research results, it shows that the mathematical problem solving abilities of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung are still relatively low, this can be seen from the results of daily tests where 72 of the 307 students scored above the KKM. Researchers are interested in conducting research with the aim of finding out the effect of implementing the snowball throwing learning model using index card matches in an effort to improve problem solving abilities in terms of students' learning styles. This research is a type of Quasy Experimental Design research with a 2×3 factorial research design. The sample for this research was class VIII students at SMP Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung. The sampling technique is cluster random sampling. Data collection techniques include documentation, interviews, questionnaires and tests. Data analysis techniques are normality test and homogeneity test. Hypothesis testing in this study used a two-way ANOVA test. Based on the research results and two-way ANOVA test calculations, it was concluded that there was an influence of the Snowball Throwing learning model using Index Card Match on students' mathematical problem solving abilities. There is no influence of students who have learning style categories with auditory, visual and kinesthetic categories on students' mathematical problem solving abilities. There was no interaction between the treatment of the Snowball Throwing learning model using Index Card Match and the learning style category on mathematical problem solving abilities.
