Abstract

ABSTRAK Berdasarkan hasil pra penelitian yang dilaksanakan di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sekincau, diperoleh kemampuan representasi matematis dari 113 peserta didik hanya 17 peserta didik yang memperoleh nilai diatas rata-rata dan untuk kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis dari 113 peserta didik hanya terdapat 18 peserta didik yang mendapat nilai diatas rata-rata. Oleh karena itu penulis tertarik untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan representasi dan berpikir kritis matematis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Kumon berbantuan Video youtube terhadap kemampuan representasi dan berpikir kritis matematis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasy Experimental Design dengan metode kuantitatif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji normalitas dan homogenitas. Uji hipotesis menggunakan Uji Multivariate Analysis Of Variance (MANOVA). Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik acak kelas dengan kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen 1, kelas VIII B sebagai kelas eksperimen 2, dan kelas VIII C sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara model pembelajaran kumon berbantuan video youtube terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis, terdapat pengaruh antara model pembelajaran kumon berbantuan video youtube terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis, dan terdapat pengaruh antara model pembelajaran kumon berbantuan video youtube terhadap kemampuan representasi dan berpikir kritis matematis. Kata kunci: Model pembelajaran Kumon, Youtube, Kemampuan Representasi Matematis, Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Matematis. ABSTRACT Based on the results of pre-research carried out in class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Semaka, obtained of the mathematical representation abilities of 113 students, only 17 students obtained scores above the average and for mathematical critical thinking skills of the 192 students there were only 28 students who got a score above average. Therefore, the author is interested in applying a learning model that can improve mathematical representation and critical thinking abilities. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the kumon learning model assisted by youtube video on mathematical representation and critical thinking abilities. This type of research is Quasy Experimental Design with quantitative methods. The data analysis techniques used are normality and homogeneity tests. Hypothesis testing uses the Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA) Test. The sampling technique used a random class technique with class VIII A as experimental class 1, class VIII B as experimental class 2, and class VIII C as the control class. The results of this research concluded that there was an influence between the kumon learning model assisted by youtube video on mathematical representation abilities, there is an influence between the kumon learning model assisted by youtube video on mathematical critical thingking skills, and there is an influence between the kumon learning model assisted by youtube video on mathematical representation and critical thinking skills.
