Abstract

ABSTRAK Kemampuan literasi matematis di dalam pelajaran matematika adalah salah satu kemampuan yang harus dimiliki oleh peserta didik guna menyelesaikan permasalahan matematika. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh model cooperative learning dengan strategi CUPs terhadap kemampuan literasi matematis, untuk mengetahui gaya belajar terhadap kemampuan literasi matematis, dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model cooperative learning dengan strategi CUPs dan gaya belajar terhadap kemampuan literasi matematis. Metode penelitian kuantitatif berjenis quasy experimetl design, dengan populasi seluruh peserta didik kelas X MA Mathlaul Anwar Gisting Tanggamus, dan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Sampel yang digunakan 2 kelas eksperimen dan 1 kelas kontrol. Teknik analisis data uji ANOVA dua jalan (Two Way ANOVA) sel tak sama dengan taraf nilai signifikansi 0,05, hasilnya diperoleh kesimpulan 1) Nilai p-value sebesar 0,000 yang menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh model cooperative learning dengan strategi CUPs terhadap kemampuan literasi matematis, 2) Nilai p-value sebesar 0,049 yang menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh gaya belajar (visual, auditorial dan kinestetik) terhadap kemampuan literasi matematis, 3) p-value sebesar 0,625 yang menunjukkan tidak terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran cooperative learning dengan strategi CUPs dengan gaya belajar terhadap kemampuan literasi matematis. Kata kunci: Cooperative learning, kemampuan literasi matematis, Gaya belajar, CUPs. iv ABSTRACT Mathematical literacy in mathematics is one of the abilities that must be possessed by students in order to solve mathematical problems. The purpose study was to determine the effect of cooperative learning model with CUPs strategy on mathematical literacy skills, to determine the learning style on mathematical literacy skills, and to determine the effect of cooperative learning model with CUPs strategy and learning style on mathematical literacy skills. Quantitative research method of quasy experimental design type, with a population of all X grade students MA Mathlaul Anwar Gisting Tanggamus, and using cluster random sampling technique sampling technique. The samples used were 2 experimental classes and 1 control class. The data analysis technique used in this research is Two Way ANOVA test (Two Way ANOVA) unequal cells with a significance value level of 0.05. Based on the results of the analysis, 1) p-value of 0.000 which shows there is an effect of cooperative learning model with CUPs strategy on mathematical literacy skills, 2) p-value of 0.049 which shows there is an effect of learning styles (visual, auditorial and kinesthetic) on mathematical literacy skills, 3) p-value of 0.625 which shows there is no interaction between cooperative learning models with CUPs strategies with learning styles on mathematical literacy skills.
