Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran snowball throwing terhadap kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis dan kemampuan komunikasi peserta didik. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Tambelang, teknik pengambilan sampel dengan teknik simpel random sampling. Sampel yang didapatkan ialah kelas VIII-5 sebagai kelas eskperimen dengan perlakuan model pembelajaran snowball throwing serta kelas VIII-1 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan perlakuan model pembelajaran konvensional (PBL). Instrumen yang diterapkan pada penelitian ini ialah tes kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis dan tes kemampuan komunikasi peserta didik. Analisis yang diterapkan pada penelitian ini ialah uji MANOVA. Hasil analisis memperlihatkan terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran snowball throwing terhadap kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis serta kemampuan komunikasi peserta didik. Kata kunci : Model Pembelajaran Snowball Throwing, Berpikir Reflektif Matematis, dan Komunikasi iv ABSTRACT The aim of this study is to determine the effect of the snowball throwing learning model on students' mathematical reflective thinking and communication skills. The population in this study is all VIII class students of SMP Negeri 1 Tambelang, the sampling technique is simple random sampling. The sample obtained was class VIII-5 as an experimental class treated with the snowball throwing learning model and class VIII-1 as a control class treated with a conventional learning model (PBL). The instrument used in this research is a mathematical reflective thinking ability test and a student communication skills test. The analysis used in this research is the MANOVA test. The results of the analysis show that there is an influence of the snowball throwing learning model on students' mathematical reflective thinking abilities and communication skills.
