Abstract

ABSTRAK Konseling kelompok merupakan suatu proses pemberian bantuan kepada seseorang dalam bentuk kelompok baik bersifat pencegahan maupun penyembuhan. Konformitas negatif merupakan penyesuain terhadap kelompok sosial karena adanya tuntutan dari kelompok tersebut untuk menyesuaikan meskipun tuntutan tersebut tidak terbuka. Pendekatan Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy merupakan sebuah pendekatan yang bertujuan untuk merubah pikiran irasional individu menjadi lebih rasional baik secara kognitif, emosi, ataupun perilakunya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh konseling individu melalui pendekatan Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy terhadap perilaku konformitas negatif pada peserta didik SMK Negeri 6 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif pre�eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one group pretest-post-test dengan populasi 30 peserta didik dan sampel 5 peserta didik. Data penelitian diperoleh langsung dari responden melalui observasi, wawancara, kuesioner / angket, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil angket dengan uji Wilcoxon diperoleh skor Negative Rank sebesar 5a nilai ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada satupun nilai Post-Test responden yang lebih tinggi dari nilai Pre-Test responden. Selanjutnya skor Positive Rank sebesar 0b menunjukkan bahwa seluruh nilai Post-Test responden lebih kecil dari nilai Pre-Test responden. Sedangkan ties 0c menunjukkan bahwa antara skor Pre�Test dan Post-Test tidak ada yang sama dan Output Test Statistic diketahui asymp.sig.(2-tailed) bernilai 0.043. Karena nilai 0.043 < 0.05 maka terdapat perbedaan antara skor konformitas negatif peserta didik setelah diberikan layanan konseling kelompok pendekatan Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy dengan skor sebelum diberikan layanan. Kata kunci: Konseling Kelompok, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Konformitas Negatif iii ABSTRACT Group counseling is a process of providing assistance to someone in the form of a group that is both preventive and healing. Negative conformity is an adjustment to social groups because of the demands of the group to adjust even though these demands are not open. The Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy approach is an approach that aims to change the irrational thoughts of individuals to be more rational both cognitively, emotionally, or behaviorally. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an effect of individual counseling through the Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy approach on negative conformity behavior in students of SMK Negeri 6 Bandar Lampung. This study used a quantitative pre-experiment method with a one group pre-test post-test research design with a population of 30 students and a sample of 5 students. Research data were obtained directly from respondents through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Based on the results of the questionnaire with the Wilcoxon test, the Negative Rank score of 5a is obtained, this value indicates that none of the respondents' Post-Test values are higher than the respondents' Pre-Test values. Furthermore, the Positive Rank score of 0b shows that all respondents' Post-Test scores are smaller than the respondents' Pre-Test scores. While the ties 0c indicate that between the Pre-Test and Post-Test scores are not the same and the Test Statistic Output is known to be asymp.sig. (2-tailed) worth 0.043. Because of the value of 0.043 <0.05, there is a difference between the negative conformity scores of students after being given group counseling services with the Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy approach and the score before being given the service.
