Abstract

ABSTRAK HUBUNGAN WORK LIFE BALANCE DAN ETHICAL ORGANIZATION CULTURE DENGAN BURNOUT PADA DOSEN Oleh: Rahmadani Eka Deswara Dosen mempunyai tugas pokok untuk menjalankan Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi yang meliputi pengajaran dan pendidikan, melaksanakan penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat. Selain itu, terdapat kegiatan lain yang harus dijalankan dosen, misalnya memegang jabatan struktural dan menjadi anggota panitia atau kelompok kerja yang menjalankan kegiatan untuk fakultas ataupun universitas. Namun, dalam menjalankan tugas dan tanggungjawabnya ada banyak tuntutan dan tekanan dalam diri dosen yang ketika tidak berjalan baik sesuai dengan yang seharusnya, diduga dapat mendorong timbulnya stres yang dapat mengarah pada burnout. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan work life balance dan ethical organization culture dengan burnout pada dosen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah dosen yang berstatus PNS dan PPPK di UIN Raden Intan Lampung. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah accidental sampling. Dalam penelitian ini subjek yang terlibat berjumlah 103 dosen. Teknik pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tiga skala, yaitu Skala Burnout (α= 0,942), Skala Work Life Balance (α= 0,888), dan CEVMS-Short Form (α=0,945). Teknik analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis regresi berganda dan analisis regresi sederhana dengan menggunakan bantuan sofware JASP 0.18.3 for windows. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa work life balance dan ethical organization culture secara bersama-sama mempengaruhi burnout pada dosen (R = 0,648; F= 36,171; p < ,001) dengan sumbangan efektif 42% (R2= 0,420). Hasil hipotesis kedua diperoleh nilai korelasi R=0,545; p < ,001. artinya terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara work life balance dengan burnout pada dosen. Hasil analisis ketiga diperoleh nilai korelasi R= 0,556; p < ,001. artinya terdapat hubungan antara ethical organization culture dengan burnout pada dosen. Variabel work life balance memberikan sumbangan efektif sebesar 20% dan Variabel etical organization cultute memberikan sumbangan efektif sebesar 22 %. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini diterima dengan asumsi semakin tinggi work life balance dan ethical organization culture pada dosen maka akan menurunkan tingkat burnout pada dosen. In addition, there are other activities that lecturers must carry out, such as holding structural positions and becoming members of committees or working groups that carry out activities for faculties or universities. However, in carrying out their duties and responsibilities there are many demands and pressures on lecturers which, when they do not go well as they should, are thought to encourage the onset of stress which can lead to burnout. This study aims to determine the relationship between work-life balance and ethical organization culture with burnout in lecturers. The population in this study were lecturers who were civil servants (PNS) and PPPK at UIN Raden Intan Lampung. The sampling technique used in the study was accidental sampling. In this study, the subjects involved amounted to 103 lecturers. The data collection technique in this study used three scales, namely the Burnout Scale (α = 0.942), the Work-Life Balance Scale (α = 0.888), and the CEVMS-Short Form (α = 0.945). The analysis technique in this study uses multiple regression analysis techniques and simple regression analysis using the help of JASP 0.18.3 software for windows. The results of this study found that work-life balance and ethical organization culture together affect burnout in lecturers (R = 0.648; F = 36.171; p < .001) with an effective contribution of 42% (R2 = 0.420). The results of the second hypothesis obtained a correlation value R = 0.545; p <.001. meaning that there is a significant relationship between work-life balance and burnout in lecturers. The results of the third analysis obtained a correlation value of R = 0.556; p < .001. meaning that there is a relationship between ethical organization culture with burnout in lecturers. The work-life balance variable provides an effective contribution of 20% and the ethical organization culture variable provides an effective contribution of 22%. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the hypothesis proposed in this study is accepted with the assumption that the higher the work-life balance and ethical organization culture in lecturers, the lower the level of burnout in lecturers.
