Abstract

ABSTRACT This article aims to examine the interpretation of nut}fah verses related to the process of human creation and gender determination, and uses the book of tafsir An-Nu>r by Teungku Muhammad Hasbi Ash-Shiddieqy and the Ministry of Religion's book of tafsir ilmi as a tool for interpreting nut}fah verses. In this research The researcher analyzes by connecting the interpretation of the nut}fah verses with the scientific approach of human genetics. The approach in this research uses qualitative methods guided by literature data, with a focus on content analysis. The results of this study found that the Qur'an answers issues related to sex determination, according to tafsir An-Nu>r and tafsir ilmi Kemenag indicating that men through nut}fah (sperm) determine sex, this is supported by the scientific approach of human genetics, supported by the scientific approach of human genetics. ABSTRAK Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penafsiran ayat nut}fah yang berkaitan dengan proses kejadian manusia dan penentuan jenis kelamin, serta menggunakan kitab tafsir An-Nu>r karya Teungku Muhammad Hasbi Ash-Shiddieqy dan kitab tafsir ilmi Kemenag sebagai alat penafsir ayat-ayat nut}fah. Pada penelitian ini peneliti menganalisis dengan cara menghubungkan antara penafsiran ayat-ayat nut}fah dengan pendekatan ilmiah genetika manusia. Pendekatan pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif berpedoman pada data kepustakaan, dengan fokus analisis pada konten. Hasil penelitian ini mandapati bahwa Al-Qur‟'an menjawab persoalan terkait penentuan jenis kelamin, Menurut tafsir An-Nu>r dan tafsir ilmi Kemenag mengindikasikan bahwa laki-laki melalui nut}fah (sperma) yang menentukan jenis kelamin, hal ini didukung oleh pendekatan ilmiah genetika manusia.
