Abstract

ABSTRAK Retorika adalah suatu ilmu yang mempelajari bagaimana seseorang itu berbicara menyampaikan sesuatu agar pesan dapat sampai ke khalayak, sehingga tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa retorika merupakan suatu bagian yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dengan adanya kegiatan dakwah baik berupa pidato maupun ceramah (mauidhoh hasanah). Santri merupakan salah satu tonggak utama dalam penyebaran ajaran Islam. Dalam menyebarkan agama Islam tentu banyak caranya di antaranya retorika dakwah di tengah, maka dari itu santri juga harus memahami cara beretorika yang baik dalam penyampaian pesan dakwah di masyarakat. Karena itu, penelitian ini perlu dilakukan untuk mengetahui Bagaimana Penerapan Retorika Dakwah Santri Pondok Pesantren Al-Muhsin Kota Metro di Masyarakat. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk memperoleh data yang mendalam dan mengandung makna melalui kegiatan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti pada Retorika Dakwah Santri Pondok Pesantren Al-Muhsin Kota Metro di Masyarakat, mendapatkan hasil hasil yaitu, mereka memiliki beberapa kegiatan seperti mengajar mengaji, ceramah rutin setiap minggu di sekitar lokasi penempatan mereka masing-masing yang tentunya tetap dalam pengawasan dari pihak pondok pesan Pada kegiatan ceramah rutin santri ditengah masyarakat ini telah mencapai tindakan efektif yaitu da’i mampu berbicara ditengah seluruh audience atau mad’u sehingga terjadi komunikasi yang baik atau timbal balik. Hal ini dibuktikan ketika komunikator bertanya tentang materi yang diulas, maka komunikator secara serentak menjawab. Kata Kunci: Retorika Dakwah, Ceramah iv ABSTRACT Rhetoric is a science that studies how someone speaks to convey something so that the message can reach the audience, so it cannot be denied that rhetoric is an inseparable part of da'wah activities in the form of speeches or lectures (mauidhoh hasanah). Santri are one of the main milestones in the spread of Islamic teachings. In spreading the religion of Islam, of course there are many examples, including the rhetoric of da'wah in the middle, therefore students must also understand good rhetorical methods in conveying the message of da'wah in society. Therefore, this research needs to be carried out to find out how the Da'wah Rhetoric of Al-Muhsin Islamic Boarding School students in Metro City is applied in society. The research method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach to obtain in-depth and meaningful data through observation, interviews and documentation. Based on research conducted by researchers on the Rhetoric of Da'wah of Santri Islamic Boarding Schools in Al-Muhsin Metro City in the Community, the results obtained are that they have several activities such as teaching the Koran, regular lectures every week around their respective placement locations which of course remain under supervision from The Islamic Boarding School in this routine Islamic lecture activity among the community has achieved effective action, namely the preacher is able to speak in the midst of the entire audience or mad'u so that good or reciprocal communication occurs.
