Abstract

ABSTRAK Berdasarkan data yang dikeluarkan oleh Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Provinsi Lampung, sebanyak 4.042.456 jiwa atau 49% dari jumlah penduduk Lampung adalah perempuan pada tahun 2019. Namun, Tingkat Partisipasi Angkatan Kerja Perempuan hanya 48,43% dan masih tersentralisasi di sektor dengan produktivitas relatif rendah, dimana komposisi pekerja informal lebih dari 65%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh angka harapan hidup dan rata-rata lama sekolah terhadap tingkat partisipasi angkatan kerja di Provinsi Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data dengan metode dokumentasi. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dalam bentuk data yang sudah dikumpulkan dan dipublikasikan oleh Badan Pusat Statistik Provinsi Lampung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada variabel angka harapan hidup dan rata-rata lama sekolah secara parsial dan simultan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat partisipasi angkatan kerja di Provinsi Lampung tahun 2015-2023. However, the Women's Labor Force Participation Rate is only 48.43% and is still centralized in sectors with relatively low productivity, where the composition of informal workers is more than 65%. This study aims to determine the effect of life expectancy and average length of schooling on the labor force participation rate in Lampung Province. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach, with data collection techniques with documentation methods. The data used is secondary data obtained in the form of data that has been collected and published by the Central Statistics Agency of Lampung Province. The results showed that the variable life expectancy and average length of schooling partially and simultaneously did not have a significant effect on the level of labor force participation in Lampung Province in 2015-2023.
